Śpiewy podczas mszy świętej z udziałem dzieci

Abstract

Pieśń podczas mszy świętej jest integralną częścią liturgii. Nie może być traktowana jedynie jako upiększenie, oprawa, dobierany według własnego uznania dodatek. W liturgii nie ma miejsca na piosenki religijne. W doborze pieśni nie należy kierować się jednostkowymi gustami uczestników liturgii, tak księży, jak i np. animatorów. Pieśni bowiem liturgiczne są pełnoprawnymi i uregulowanymi przez Kościół sposobami oddawania czci Bogu i uświęcenia wiernych. Dotyczy to także pieśni dla dzieci. W ich doborze winniśmy się kierować zatwierdzonymi przez biskupa diecezjalnego śpiewnikami, możliwościami muzycznymi i intelektualnymi najmłodszych, ale także celami wychowawczymi, formującymi dzieci do dojrzałego uczestnictwa w liturgii wraz z całą wspólnotą Kościoła. Liturgii nie należy infantylizować czy też trywializować, a przez włączanie piosenek – profanować. Liturgia ma swoją godność, świętość, którą należy uszanować także poprzez korzystanie z godnego repertuaru.During the mass songs are an integral part of the liturgy. They should not be treated merely as an ornament or embellishment, selected at one’s own discretion. In the liturgy there is no place for ordinary religious songs. The selection of songs should not be guided by the individual tastes of the participants of the liturgy, including both priests as well as e.g. animators. That is because liturgical songs are legitimate ways of worshiping God and of sanctifying the faithful, and are regulated by the Church. This also applies to songs for children. In their selection, we should be guided by the song books approved by the diocesan bishop, the musical and intellectual capacities of the children, but also the educational purposes, shaping the children for mature participation in the liturgy together with the entire community of the Church. The liturgy should not be infantilized or trivialized, or profaned by the incorporation of songs. The liturgy has its dignity, sacredness, which should be respected also through the use of an appropriate repertoire.
