Analiza przemówienia inaugurującego pontyfikat papieża Leona XIV z punktu widzenia teologii rodziny

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest analiza przemówienia inauguracyjnego papieża Leona XIV wygłoszonego 8 maja 2025 roku z perspektywy teologii rodziny. Badanie identyfikuje motywy, metafory i odniesienia do rodziny, a także ocenia stopień ich rozwoju względem wcześniejszego nauczania Magisterium, zwłaszcza papieży Jana Pawła II, Benedykta XVI i Franciszka. Przeprowadzono jakościową analizę treści z wykorzystaniem analizy hermeneutycznej i komparatystycznej. Wyniki z badań wskazują, że Leon XIV kontynuuje dotychczasowe nauczanie Kościoła w zakresie pokoju, dialogu, synodalności i duchowości rodzinnej, jednocześnie wprowadzając akcenty charakterystyczne dla latynoamerykańskiej duchowości, zwłaszcza w kontekście maryjności. Artykuł stanowi wstępne rozpoznanie kierunków, które mogą kształtować rozwój teologii rodziny w pontyfikacie Leona XIV, oraz wskazuje możliwości dalszych badań, szczególnie w odniesieniu do mariażu wyzwań współczesnej kultury i technologii z tradycyjnym nauczaniem Kościoła.The aim of this article is to analyze the inaugural address of Pope Leo XIV, delivered on May 8, 2025, from the perspective of the theology of the family. The study identifies themes, metaphors, and references to the family, and assesses their development in relation to earlier teachings of the Magisterium, especially those of Popes John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis. A qualitative content analysis was conducted using hermeneutical and comparative analysis. The results of the study indicate that Leo XIV continues the Church’s previous teachings on peace, dialogue, synodality, and family spirituality, while introducing accents characteristic of Latin American spirituality, especially in the context of Marianism. The article provides a preliminary exploration of the directions that may shape the development of the theology of the family in Leo XIV’s pontificate, and indicates opportunities for further research, especially in relation to the marriage of the challenges of contemporary culture and technology with the traditional teachings of the Church.
