Spotkanie z Chrystusem Zmartwychwstałym w Eucharystii

Abstract

Resurrection of Christ is one of the most important components of redemption. “If Christ has not been raised [form death],” St. Paul teaches us, “then we have nothing to preach, then your faith is a delusion and you are still lost in your sins.” (1 Cor 15,17) How deeply during Eucharist do we take to our heart this importan t truth? W hat does our meeting with Resurrected Christ who comes to us under cover of the signs look like? These questions are intim ate. Everyone can answer them in accordance with their own experience of faith. Through his deliberations, the author wants to aid this faith so th at it might rejoice more in the presence of Resurrected Christ and be able to receive in a better way the gifts which He brings. This is not an easy task. We were brought up in a tradition in which the tru th about the presence of Resurrection of Christ in Eucharist was not stressed much. What was stressed was His Offering on the Cross. In connection to this teaching an attem pt is being made to accentuate the joyful truth that Resurrected Christ is among us and Eucharist is the privileged place of meeting with Him. As He comes to us under cover of the signs, a closer look will be taken at these liturgical signs that particularly bear the radiance of resurrection.
