Abstract

Tourism, in a broad sense, is one of the human-related forms of activity. As well as sports phenomenon, tourism belongs to the field of recreation, which has developed on an unprecedented scale in the recent time. The above mentioned development is present worldwide, nationwide as well as in local environments. This phenomenon is more and more evident in our country. The most important reason for this is the socio-political transformation after year 1989, which lifted up visa obligations to many countries. Tourism has influence on humans. It seems to transform especially the young and broadens the culture aspects in their minds. Active touring makes them sensitive to human needs, prompts to care for their health, raises their awareness of the need for intellectual, moral and social development as well as esthetic and sacral values. Family tourism is of paramount importance for the young. Spending holidays together creates in them the spirit of co-operation, responsibility, co-activity and opens up to the needs of other members of family.
