Panteizm a panenteizm w kontekście filozoficznych kontrowersji średniowiecza

Abstract

The paper presents the controversies between the late Scholastics and the Christian Neoplatonic tradition from Dionysius the Areopagite to Nicholas of Cusa. On the basis of Cusanus’ terminological distinctions the author points out that the thesis of divine immanence in nature may be more adequately expressed than it was practiced in the traditional approach of neo-Thomism. Physical data dealing with the status of physical fields as well as new developments in the domain of the possible worlds ontology are introduced to confimi the panentheistic interpretation of nature.
