dc.description.abstractReligious books (the Bible, catehisms, postillas), edited in Poland in 16th and 17th centuries, let us state, that the need of deeper christian faith was an overriding factor to be observed in printing of these types of books. Apologetic writings, so characteristic for that period, shall not cover trends of searching mutual dialogue and understanding.
