Hierarchia ludzkich wartości

Abstract

The author examines the problem of the theory of values and points out the necessity to transcend the errors of psychologism, sociologism or cognitive assumptions in this domain. In his opinion, an integral anthropological view may become a proper basis to work out the theory of values, which theory will be in line with the truth of man. Hence he postulates separation and respect for the values of human nature, human personality and human person. Such a separation and respect for the world of human values will lead to the disclusure of the hierarchy of human values. Man becomes inwardly free and develops properly when he observes this hierarchy. The source of constraint in this sphere is found not in accepting the needs and values proper to human nature or human personality, but in distorting the truth of the hierarchy of the complexity of human being. Consequently, it makes the love for this being distorted.
