Amplifikacje. O sztuce kaznodziejskiej arcybiskupa Kazimierza Majdańskiego

Abstract

Amplification is one of the most important rhetorical figures of argumentation in a cycle „Homilie fatimskie” („Fatima’s Sermons”). There are two main areas of amplification: history of Pomerania and semantic of place. All forms of creating and modification of reality are results of Archbischop’s vision of a preacher. His purpose is not to persuade or to induce, but to argue. An aim of this process is to build a Christian community.
