Abstract

One of the manifestations of the contemporary human crisis is prayer. This article addresses this issue in the context of the challenges of civilization. Using the analytical method, the genotypic and phenotypic foundations of prayer are indicated. The key is the experience of Holy Scripture, which is a prayer-sanctifying dialogue. The culmination point of this process is the person of Jesus Christ. In this context, it is necessary to notice and specify contemporary challenges, which are multi-layered and multi-faceted. The progress of civilization, which is at the center of modern existence along with increasing apostasy, has placed man at the center of the universe. This has caused a huge anthropological and identity disturbance. The analysis shows that referring to God as Truth in a prayerful interpersonal dialogue can lead to a person regaining his identity.

Jednym z przejawów współczesnego kryzysu człowieka jest modlitwa. Publikacja podejmuje tę problematykę w kontekście wyzwań cywilizacyjnych. Posługując się metodą analityczną, wskazuje na genotypiczne i fenotypiczne fundamenty modlitwy. Kluczowe jest doświadczenie wynikające z Pisma Świętego, które jest modlitewno- -uświęcającym dialogiem. Punktem szczytowym tego procesu jest osoba Jezusa Chrystusa. W tym kontekście konieczne jest zauważenie i sprecyzowanie współczesnych wyzwań, które są wielowarstwowe oraz wieloaspektowe. Cywilizacyjny postęp, który znalazł się w centrum współczesnej egzystencji wraz z narastającą apostazją, postawił człowieka w centrum wszechświata. To spowodowało potężne zachwianie antropologiczno-tożsamościowe. Analiza wskazuje, że odniesienie do Boga jako Prawdy w modlitewnym dialogu interpersonalnym, może prowadzić do odzyskania przez człowieka jego tożsamości.
