Pozycja Objawienie „zakończone wraz ze śmiercią ostatniego apostoła”? Znaczenie i ograniczenia formułyPawłowski, Sławomir (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2012)Artykuł omawia klasyczne znaczenie formuły „Objawienie zakończyło się wraz ze śmiercią ostatniego Apostoła” i prezentuje jej przedsoborową krytykę. Formuła nie została włączona do soborowej konstytucji Dei verbum; Sobór przesunął akcent z Apostołów na Chrystusa i z „zamknięcia” („zakończenia”) na „wypełnienie”. Posoborowe nauczanie Kościoła także nie zawiera omawianej formuły, lecz stwierdza sam fakt wypełnienia objawienia w Chrystusie. Jest to owoc pogłębionej refleksji teologicznej nad rzeczywistością Objawienia Bożego, na przykład przez odróżnianie autentyczności ksiąg świętych od ich kanoniczności, Objawienia od natchnienia biblijnego, dostrzeganie biblijnego bogactwa słowa „apostoł”, wreszcie odejście od czysto intelektualistycznej koncepcji Objawienia. Choć współczesna teologia ciągle pogłębia i propaguje takie ujęcie Objawienia, w poszczególnych wypadkach zdarza się używanie starej formuły, że „Objawienie zakończyło się wraz śmiercią ostatniego Apostoła”. Niniejsze opracowanie postuluje zaniechanie jej stosowania oraz precyzyjne tłumaczenie i prezentację nauczania Kościoła o „wypełnieniu Objawienia w Chrystusie”.
