Wybór między rodziną a pracą zawodową. Doświadczanie i rozwiązywanie konfliktu wewnętrznego

Background – It is more and more difficult for modern man to reconcile assigned social roles, especially the role of a parent and the role of an employee. Family and work are one of the most important values, the implementation of which gives life meaning. However, there are times when these values conflict because they cannot be implemented simultaneously. Goals – The aim of this article is to identify the causes of the conflict between the above values, the possibilities of solving it, as well as discussing strategies of preventing such difficult situations from arising. Methodology – The article is of a review character, focuses on the description and analysis of the literature on the subject. Results – In this article, the following issues were analysed in detail: the sense of marriage community, communication in marriage, setting priorities, mobilizing internal resources, mobilizing external resources, and the postulate of flexibility in solving emerging problems was highlighted. Conclusions – A responsible adult is required to be able to cope with difficult situations, as well as to be aware that there are many ways to achieve your own goals and flexibly react. Obstacles can be treated as challenges, and overcoming them – a source of life satisfaction.
