This paper presents some reflection on the place of logic in theology as well as the practice of evangelisation. The analysis is based on examples taken both from the Scripture and the practice of preaching. In particular the following issues are discussed: problem of application of logical laws, various forms of implication used in the Scripture, alternative interpretation of Biblical passages, rational and experiential components of religious knowledge. It is argued that the knowledge of formal logic is of great importance for the proclamation of the Good News.
