Pozycja Represje wobec katechetów w latach 1944-1956Turkowski, Stanisław (Papieski Fakultet Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2004)We can find main four period in contact between Polish Catholic Church and Polish Communist Party. First period (1944-1948) – the this time relatively calm school work and the observation of social moods. Second period (1948-1550) – brought first signals of difficulty and pressures of different kind previous between Polish Episcopate and government of PRL contained mutual agreement. There repressions which begun was applying, they had the character of tests and experiments, having serving discriminatory background. Third period (1950-1953) began his perverse activity the famous Department of Confessions, which executing the recommendation of Central Committee of Polish Communist Party as well as Department of Security, it caused the growth the repression until to historical words: non possumus of Episcopate, finished arrest Primate Bishop of Poland – Card. Stefan Wyszyński, on 25 of September 1953. Last fourth period (1953-1956) – this is period of violent battue, terror and brutal interference of state in matter of the Catholic Church, the fine sew on catechists for “illegal” the teaching in the buildings belongs to the Church, prisons, until to almost total removal with schools the teachers of religion.
