Mystagogy is an explanation of the doctrine of faith at the same time an introduction to the mystery of Christ. The exposition of the liturgical and sacramental sings opens the way to participation in the life of God. The purpose of homily in the its mystagogic dimension, homily which is deeplyrooted in the Eucharist, is to lead to the full union with God. This union enables people to live a life worthy of their Christian name.
