    Abraham – ojciec wiary
Krasowski, Andrzej (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)
Every vocation is the work of God. It is God who gives the grace and everything one needs to fulfil the vocation. So it was in Abraham’s life. Being called Abraham had to follow his way – the way of faith. All this was given to him that he could learn to look at the events of his life not as a pagan but as God Himself. Allowing the transformation God sends consolation. But He also allows doubts and even sufferings that purify. God acts in certain time continuum and through the definite events. Abraham learns not only to believe in God, but just trust Him. Being put to the test on Moria Mountain he doesn’t hesitate to follow the senseless, from the human point of view, way of life. He has already experienced the great love of God who leads him. Abraham believes God because he has experienced earlier that God gets life out of death! This is the moment when in his deep faith Abraham sees the Resurrection. Being baptized everyone gets vocation to holiness. God also leads us through the way of faith giving us the events we could respond to with the words of Abraham – the words of faith: “God will provide.”

    Jakość homilii
Krasowski, Andrzej (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2010)
A homily as part of the liturgy is a Holy act like the whole liturgy. The Good News should be its essence. The Good News, Jesus Christ – the Crucified, the Risen, the Giver of the Holy Spirit. He makes himself present in the liturgy, in a real word. He comes to a sinful man to save him. Therefore homily is the meeting of God and man. It’s God’s Word made present in the word of a human preacher. Appropriate knowledge of the Holy Bible and human matters as well as the inclusion of the issues of Christian faith presented in thematic homilies certainly improve their quality.

Józef Egipski – latorośl owocująca nad źródłem. Stary Testament na współczesnej ambonie
Krasowski, Andrzej (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2013)
Joseph is born as a very expected and wanted child. The translation of this name is may God multiply or just add. Sold by brothers gets to Egypt. In spite of adversities and injustice he is faithful to God. When he explains Pharaoh’s dream he is appointed governor of whole Egypt. During harvests he stores cereal in granaries to distribute it to the people in time of famine. When his family also suffers from hunger it comes to Egypt. Joseph makes himself known to his brothers and without bearing them a grudge for done wrong he brings father and whole family and settles them in the most fertile part of Egypt. Joseph’s history is the story of the shaping and strengthening belief in God. His way is the way of kenosis. Joseph saves people from death by starvation. He is so then an announcement of Messiah who will pass the way of stripping by saving all people from their sins and eternal death. This story gives also an answer to the question: what is mature piety of Christian life. This maturity is expressed in the fact to see, understand and accept the story of our life.

    Patriarcha Jakub w przepowiadaniu homilijnym
Krasowski, Andrzej (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2012)
Jacob is the son of Isaac and Rebekah. In his attitudes and acts he is not irreproachable, righteous and transparent, but all the same it is with him that God creates history! Already when he was being born he grasped his brother Esau by his heel. Using a trick he bought the birthright and his father’s blessing. So he has to escape. In Laban’s home he marries Leah and Rachel who give birth to his children. When he was returning home with his whole family he had an encounter with God, during which encounter God changed his name to Israel. This was also the moment of Jacob’s inner transformation, when a treacherous and dishonest man was changed into an indomitable, subject to God one. The article shows these stories in a certain very important key. The history of Jacob’s life and various events connected with it is the way the inspired author shows how God led his chosen one towards himself. This is important for us, who are chosen by God and called to be saint by the mandate of holy baptism, as also each of us has his own history of life, including good and edifying events, but also difficult and ambiguous ones. And if it is so, maybe God – like in Jacob’s life – also in our lives, through exactly such events leads us to himself!

Sól ziemi i światło świata. Perykopa o zadaniach uczniów Jezusa (Mt 5, 13-16) w przepowiadaniu homilijnym do młodzieży
Krasowski, Andrzej (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2014)
A przecież to On i tylko On jest prawdziwą Solą ziemi i Światłem świata. Młodzi ludzie to słuchacze bardzo wymagający. By rozpalić w ich sercach ogień, trzeba homilię uczynić światłem i ogniem.
