Pozycja Bernadetta M. Puchalska-Dąbrowska, Bohaterowie Wysp Brytyjskich jako wzorce świętości w hagiografii polskiej XVI-XVII wieku, Białystok 2009 s. 234 (rec.).Skreczko, Adam (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2001)Pozycja Heroizm współczesnego świadectwa w KościeleSkreczko, Adam (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2012)The article aims at the presentation of the phenomenon of heroism of the witnesses of Christian faith in the contemporary world. Every historical period needs such heroes. The author focuses especially on the cases of the martyrs of the Second World War, the victims of anti-Christian persecutions of the 21th century and persons who have achieved sanctity in the circumstances of everyday life, e.g. as married couples and parents. The examples under discussion show that everyone is called to be a witness of the faith, to the point of martyrdom.Pozycja Ksiądz Michał Sopoćko jako teolog pastoralistaSkreczko, Adam (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2007)The paper deals with the didactic, formative, and scientific activity in pastoral theology of the Venerable Rev. Michał Spoćko (1888-1975). He is well-known mainly as the confessor of St. Faustyna Kowalska, the Apostle of Divine Mercy. His didactic and literary accomplishments are significant, but they have not been studied and presented yet in the milieu of pastoral theologians. In his formative activity and theological-pastoral reflection Rev. M. Sopoćko sought to make people sensitive to the supernatural goal of life and help them to accomplish it. He was well prepared for his learned work through his university studies. He was a thorough, critical, and demanding scholar. His literary output has played an essential role in propagating the devotion to Divine Mercy and contributed to the development of pastoral theology in Poland.Pozycja Obrona rodziny w programach duszpasterskich Kościoła w PolsceSkreczko, Adam (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2013)Pastoral programmes in Poland have always supported a family. The article weighs the problem, focusing on the first initiative of this kind, which was the Great Novena of the Millennium (1956-1966). It was when Cardinal Stephen Wyszyński and the Episcopate of Poland gave the priority to married and family life. The analysis done shows that further pastoral programmes also dedicated much space to family problems. The Christian idea of married and family life proposed by Catholic Church in Poland still has to struggle with different concepts of the problem, formerly a Communist approach, and today with a liberal one.Pozycja Rodzicielstwo jako wspólne zadanie rodziny i KościołaSkreczko, Adam (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)Parenthood is given and assigned first to parents, but also to all communities which are concerned with children’s upbringing. One needs to take into account the country, which acts through education, but also the media. One cannot forget the Church either. This paper shows the church’s support for the contemporary family in fulfilling parental duties. Church’s service in that respect is not limited to the activities of the clergy, but is a sum of numerous initiatives undertaken by the laity involved in the Family Ministry.
