Pozycja Rola i znaczenie osób niepełnosprawnych we współczesnej rodzinieJóźwik, Michał (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The family is the oldest and common natural institution and the community of mankind. The unquestionable role of the family stems from the continuous impact on the human being from an early age. It is the family that offers the possibility of development of the personality of an efficient and disabled human being. For a disabled person, the family becomes the most important inspirer of life. The family mostly influences the quality of life of its disabled members. It is the family that can provide a sense of security, recognition, love and self-worth. The purpose of this article is to attempt to answer the question of what role and importance is played by a disabled person in the family, and how does he/she affect the behavior of individual members of the modern family.Pozycja Uzdrowienie niewidomego – podwójny dowód boskości Jezusa ChrystusaRucki, Mirosław (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)In the paper, a Jewish perspective of the John’s story about healing the blind is presented. The range of Jewish documents and prayers connected with healing the blinds is discussed. The context of healing on Sabbath is provided, emphasizing that Jesus “had created” new eyes for the man born blind. In the final section, the context of exclusion of the healed blind man from synagogue is shown, too.Pozycja Księgi parafialne w świetle obowiązujących przepisówAdamczyk, Jerzy (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The necessity of maintaining and storing parish registers is an important part of church administration. All of them lived during the 14th century representing affective mysticism and negative theology. The most significant representatives of the period in English spirituality are Richard Rolle, the anonymous author of The Cloud of Unknowing, Walter Hilton and Julian of Norwich. The English eccentricity and utterly unique individuality mark all four mystics so much that the spiritual writers of the century never formed a national school. Nevertheless, they shared common values, approaches and the typical late medieval desire to express traditional Latin spirituality in the vernacular. Until today they are the greatest English prose writers of their age and their works remain unsurpassed masterpieces among all spiritual treatises written in the English language.Pozycja Filozoficzno-egzystencjalna anatomia choroby, cierpienia i śmierciMrzygłód, Piotr (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Despite the fact that there exists a substantial amount of scientific works dedicated to various aspects of illness, suffering, dying and death – all the research still appears to be incomplete. Very often they offer only one point of view, are very limited or not coherent. One can’t help but doubt, if it is possible at all to write a fully objective and “to the point”, short philosophical essay about the complicated “world of illness”, human suffering, dying and death. That problem seems being increased by the fact, that every time the words in those dramatic matters are spoken, there is no empirical verification of the thesis or any proof for the truthfulness of the established results. It is set on theoretical analysis of what best describes the unfathomable “mystery”. That’s why it looks as if only philosophy is a knowledge domain competent enough to, by “asking about the human being”, show his living status, destiny and cause. The most suitable area of research is the metaphysical fragility of the human’s life, which includes the suffering, pain, illness and death. And all of them are what the human nature (spiritual and carnal) is composed of.Pozycja Zabiegi biskupa Tomasza II o auxilium brachii secularis przeciw księciu Henrykowi IV Probusowi w 1287 rokuJerzak, Norbert (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)When Bishop Thomas II was holding the diocese of Wroclaw in 1270, he found a difficult situation after the rules of Prince Bishop Władysław, the interests of church suffered greatly, there was lawlessness and disorder. The first task was the establishment of law and order. During of implementating of order in the diocese, there was a dispute with Prince Henry IV. It was a big dispute concerning the views of law, power, church and state. During the dispute the bishop was using excommunication, interdict, and the Prince was using the policy of fait accompli and the military dominance as much that the bishop had to run to Otmuchów and then to Racibórz, which Prince Henry had invaded by armed troops. The article describes the efforts of Bishop Thomas for announcement of crusade against the prince. The idea emerged during the Synod meeting in 1285 in Krakow, but Pope Honorius IV did not agree. Once again, the bishop strives for an armed expedition against the prince in 1287. He was striving for this in Rome and by the Polish bishops.Pozycja Dogmat chalcedoński syntezą wcześniejszych formuł dogmatycznych i punktem odniesienia przyszłychLiszka, Piotr (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The dogmatic formulas are already created by the authors of books of the Bible, afterwards they are appeared in the liturgy and also within the whole tradition of the Church. The most important formulas are that which were created during the first ecumenical councils. They present precise synthesis of the manifested content. They answer for fundamental questions of the Christian faith, mainly within the context of occurrence of statements largely contrary to it. The dogmatic formula should be clear and precise, in order to know to what it is related. All these requirements are met by the Chalcedonian dogma which is the synthesis of earlier dogmatic formulas and the reference point for all formulas which will appear in the future.Pozycja Działalność metropolity Szeptyckiego na rzecz zjednoczenia CerkwiKubasik, Adam (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)One of Archbishop Andrey Sheptytsky’s main goals was to unite the Church. However, he emphasised that he did not want everyone to become Roman Catholics, but to be united with the Bishop of Rome, preserving their own rites. In order to realise his intentions, he established relationships with many Orthodox Church hierarchs. His actions did not bring the intended results, though. One of the major reasons for that was the fact that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was headed by Russians, who had no cause to act in favour of the Ukrainian nation’s interests.Pozycja „Ty będziesz nazywał się Kefas” (J 1, 42). Kefas i inne aramejskie osobowe nazwy własne w greckim tekście Nowego TestamentuOstański, Piotr (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Aramaic background that results from several factors: – the Aramaic language was very popular in Roman Palestine during the first century A.D.; – the Aramaic was Jesus’ mother tongue; – Jesus’ teaching was being recorded in Aramaic and then it circulated among the people; – the oldest Church consisted of Aramaic speaking communities. It is worth remembering that the New Testament authors, when working on the Greek Gospels, they were following their Aramaic language habits. The effects of them were aramaisms in the Greek texts, Aramaic sentence constructions and even Aramaic words rendered by Greek letters. The aim of this paper is to investigate Aramaic anthroponyms, i.e. personal proper names existing in the Greek text of the New Testament. Seven Aramaic personal names beginning with the syllable bar- („son of...”): Barabbas (Matt 27:16), Bariēsous (Acts 13:6), Barnabas (Acts 4:36), Barsabbas (Acts 1:23), Bartholomaios (Mk 3:18), Bartimaios (Mk 10:46) and Simōn Bariōna (Mt 16:17) were analysed; furthermore four Aramaic apostles’ nicknames: Kēphas (John 1:42), Boanērges (Mark 3:17), Thōmas (Mark 3:18) and Thaddaios (3:18), and at last one female name – Tabitha (Acts 9:36). Aramaic names and nicknames recorded in Greek script are one of clever devices that help to localize the text of the Gospel in the multilingual environment of Roman Palestine of the first century A.D. and thereby make it more reliable for a reader. Apart from Aramaic anthroponyms in the Gospels there are also many Aramaic toponyms (geographical proper names), common words and phrases. They will require further research.Pozycja Co Duch Święty mówi dzisiaj do Kościoła w Polsce?Czaja, Andrzej (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Pozycja Młodzież FranciszkaSiemieniewski, Andrzej (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Pozycja Sprawozdanie z I Kongresu Teologii Praktycznej „Polska krajem misyjnym?”. Warszawa, 19–21 września 2016Giemza, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Pozycja Piękno jako szczyt natury oraz kultury – filozoficzno-teologiczne ujęcie pięknaSobczak, Grzegorz (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The beauty revealed oneself in two spheres of the one reality: in nature and in culture – but as trancendentalium, beauty as exceeding beyond this reality. Roberta Spiskego, założyciela Zgromadzenia Sióstr św. JadwigiDulik, Michał (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The Wroclaw-born capitular and founder of the Sisters of Saint Hedwig, and meanwhile servant of God, Spiske, was an “apostle of mercy.” As an outstanding preacher and searched confessor, he belonged to the Catholic renewal movement of the 19th century in the archdiocese of Wroclaw and Prussia. He applied a specific focus of his pastoral activity to the ministry of childern an youth and to the recovery of those believers, who had grown aparat from the Church. In order to give orphans a home, he founded in Wroclaw the congregation of the Sisters of Saint Hedwig. A maxim of his life was: “Without works of mercy you can not be a Christian.” This article demonstrated how he lived this concept concretely. These conditions have been proclaimed by the Church from the beginning. Due to the sacrament of baptism, every Christian is committed to practice the works of mercy in his life. For mature Christians two other sacraments go with these: The sacrament of reconciliation and the eucharist. If oneself receives these two sacraments, wich are given us by God’s compassion, one will be better prepared to render the Christian mercy to other humans; not to forget the prayer. The personal relationship to Jesus Christ helps the individual Christian to deal merciful with other humans. Also Pope Francis emphasized this foundation of the Christian life, as he announced the Holy Year of Mercy. It is worth considering, that the thoughts of the servant of God, Robert Spiske, have not lost any of their actuality.Pozycja Franz Posset, Johann Reuchlin (1455–1522). A Theological Biography, Arbeiten zur Kirchengeschichte 129, Berlin–Boston: De Gruyter, 2015, XXVI, 917 ss.Pietkiewicz, Rajmund (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Pozycja Głosiciel Chrystusa dzisiajFerdek, Bogdan (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)Pozycja Cypr – wyspa ewangelicznej siejby poprzez wieki (część I)Zawadzki, Ryszard (Papieski Wydział Teologiczny we Wrocławiu, 2016)The evangelization of Cyprus, as shown by St Luke in The Acts of the Apostles, can be perceived as a miniature-pattern for the process of expansion and triumph of Christianity in the ancient world, which was initiated on the very island. While focusing on the beginnings of Christianization of Cyprus, the article aims at presenting, first of all, the rich historical and multicultural background, encountered and “inherited” here by the new religion, as the soil for sowing the evangelistic seed in. The following two parts of the article, showing the Greek-speaking Jewish diaspora on the island as praeparatio evangelica, depict the process of rooting of the Gospel on Cyprus. The first stage of that process is connected with the activity of the precursors of Barnabas and Saul, involved in evangelizing mission on the island. Scattered, as a result of persecution which took place in Jerusalem when deacon Stephen was killed, the precursors (mentioned by St Luke in Acts 11), come over as exceptionally courageous torch-bearers of the new faith, engaged in the pursuit of missionary path preparation for Saul-Paul and Barnabas on Cyprus. Their mission on the island, as the second stage of evangelization of Cyprus, spread from its eastern boundary to the western one, and was accomplished in the capital city of Paphos by conspicuous conversion of the Roman governor of Cyprus, which was the “opening a door of faith to the Gentiles” (Acts 14:27) and a paragon for future evangelization of the whole Roman Empire.
