Pozycja Zastosowanie poziomów złożoności w czwartej drodze Tomasza z AkwinuKrzos, Bartłomiej; Sadłocha, Łukasz (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)Theology as a science draws material from various sources. There are those having their basis on the authority (the Bible and sacred tradition), ‘signs of the times’, humanities and natural sciences. Among them it is the natural science that is a flashpoint of different disputes arising between theology and natural sciences. Nevertheless, one is not allowed to reject natural sciences since they mould a human perception of the world. The aim of the article is to present the use of the levels of complexity having their roots in natural sciences in the Fourth Way of Saint Aquinas. Hierarchical levels of reality are a common element of these two concepts. There will also be made an attempt to update the argument.Pozycja Zarys dziejów parafii w Radostowie do końca II wojny światowejKopiczko, Andrzej (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)The article describes the origins and development of the parish in Radostowo in 1945. The main attention was paid to changes in the equipment of the church, pastoral development, operation of the parish school, religious associations and pastors. Radostowo was founded in the years 1333-1342. Its location was approved in 1362 by Bishop Jan Stryprock and back the church was dated. The first known probost was Thomas Kranch, mentioned in 1482. In 1888-1890 there was conducted a restauration of the interior. The parish was not large. In 1777 Easter Holy Communion was taken by 726 people and 33 children were baptized. In 1901 (after the parish in Frączki was excluded) Easter Holy Communion was taken by 1010 and in 1941 by 1227 people. After World War II the parish did not have its own parish priest for many years until 1 July 1990 when rev. Jan Mucha became the probost and now rev. Marek Choromański has ministered to the parish.Pozycja Catholic Sacramental Formation for Polish Children and Young People in England and WalesMąkosa, Paweł (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)According to official data, currently there are over two million Polish emigrants. Several hundred thousand of them live in Great Britain. Many studies and publications have been devoted to Polish emigration, but there have been none focussing on their religious life or Christian education and formation. To fill the gap, for the first time, empirical research has been carried out among Polish priests working with Polish emigrants in England and Wales. The survey concerned preparations for receiving the Sacraments organised by parishes of the Polish Catholic Mission established in that area. The survey tool in the form of a questionnaire was developed by academics from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. The results obtained facilitated the determination of the organisational framework, topics, forms and methods of Catholic sacramental formation for Polish emigrants. This paper presents and analyses the results of the survey concerning the preparations of Polish children for their first Confession and Holy Communion, and the preparations of young people for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Furthermore, an attempt has been made at determining the major challenges faced by religious education and formation for Polish emigrants living in England and Wales, and the areas requiring further investigation have been identified.Pozycja Criminal Offences of Piracy in Polish Criminal LegislationFrąckowiak, Kamil (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)The author of the article made an attempt to thoroughly analyze prohibited acts aimed at penalization of the criminal actions closely connected with piracy. Perpetrators of maritime offences committed on both open and inland sea – in case when they will be under the jurisdiction of the Polish law – can commit prohibited acts included in chapters XIX, XX, XXXII and XXXV of the Polish Penal Code of 1997, which are respectively aimed against health and life, common security, public order and property, of course this set of acts is not completed. It is not possible to predict all of the pirates’ actions. However, especially perpetrators (pirates), can – by their actions – fulfill such characteristic features of offences as: taking a ship into possession (art. 166 of the Penal Code), placement on the ship dangerous device or substance (art. 167 of the Penal Code), piracy (art. 170 of the Penal Code), participation in an organized crime or gang (art. 258 of the Penal Code). Summing up, taking into account the author’s aim of the description of offences in terms of piracy in Polish criminal law, only the problems connected with maritime aspects of prohibited acts were described.Pozycja Kościół łomżyński wobec partii politycznych w II RPGuzewicz, Wojciech; Grygorczyk, Ewelina (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)The article is the question of the relation of the Church Lomza political parties during the Second Republic.
