This article discusses the obligatory bodies as described by by the norms of the canon law. As part of the presentation of the structures concerned, their legal bases, requirements for their members, functions performed, and other significant detailed rules were laid down. The legal analysis of these regulations emphasises the importance of all the faithful in the management of a diocese, especially through the bodies appointed.

This article discusses the notion of crimes against human life and freedom basing on the norms of universal canon law. The codex legislator described the concepts of crime and criminal sanctions in a precise manner, and also listed the fundamental crimes putting a man’s life, health, and freedom in harm’s way. The provisions in force of the Code of Canon Law promulgated in 1983, containing a renewed look at the issue of criminal sanctions in the Church, were analysed and interpreted.
