Aleksander VI jako władca Rzymu i Państwa Kościelnego
Szociński, Samuel (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2017)
Pope Alexander VI is a controversial persona in the history of the Roman Catholic Church. An effective ruler, efficient politician, and at the same time a pope whose moral compass is evaluated negatively. Hence the historians’ assessments are not unequivocal. The political decisions of Alexander VI are discussed within the political and socio-economic context of the epoch.

Symbolika i zastosowanie wybranych form czynnego uczestnictwa wiernych w liturgii mszalnej
Trzaska, Łukasz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2017)
The aim of the study was to present the multi-faceted nature of the understanding of participation of the faithful in the liturgical celebration after the Second Ecumenical Council of the Vatican. In order to explore the subject matter thoroughly, the author shows the Biblical basis of participation in the Eucharist as well as the development of the concept of participation over various epochs of the Church’s existence. The theology behind the participation of the faithful in Mass is discussed on the basis of the analysis of the documents of Vatican II and on the basis of the attempt to explain the concept of participatio actuosa.

The hymn on humility and exaltation of Christ is an integral part of the Epistle of Paul and Timothy to the Philippians. It is also a very specific lecture on the ethical system of St. Paul and an example to follow for all the worshippers of Christ.

    Działalność wychowawcza bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego
Kowalski, Marcin (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2017)
Educational ideas developed by Blessed Edmund Bojanowski fit in the broad current of the modern-day Church teachings. Edmund Bojanowski, who died almost a century before the Second Ecumenical Council of the Vatican, is called “the precursor of the Council” because of the originality and innovation of his teaching methods. The religious education of children from an early age was for Blessed Edmund Bojanowski a far-sighted and grassroots venture. The result of such as upbringing was to create a man who would become an ever more perfect image and likeness of God on Earth. This painting was best illustrated in the person of Jesus Christ.

Konsumpcjonizm jako duchowe zagrożenie człowieka XXI wieku
Kosiorek, Michalina (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2017)
Consumerism, linked to egoism and lack of belonging to the community, is a contemporary form of atheism. The growing gap between poor and rich societies is of equal importance. The response of the Roman Catholic Church to the phenomenon of consumerism is based on a personalised critical sense that helps to identify real needs and to confront them with one’s system of values.

Maria e la Chiesa nell’ interpretazione di René Laurentin
Kopeć, Bartłomiej (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Diecezji Warszawsko-Praskiej, 2017)
We are aware of the importance of Mary, the mother of Jesus in the life and faith of the People of God, especially as emphasized repeatedly by the documents of the Church. To better understand this and the significance of Mary, as the Mother of God, and her place in the plan of salvation and her unique relationship to the Church, we look to one of the 20th century’s prominent Mariologists - René Laurentin. The French theologian draws our attention to the various dimensions of Mary’s life, which can serve as a model for the community of believers. Undoubtedly, she is the first disciple of her Son. God speaks to her through his Word in varied ways and in difficult moments. It is in this way, Mary travels the path from natural parental relationship to Jesus, to the spiritual relationship of Master and disciple. Within this context, the Church is invited to the listen to the Word of God, and follow the Master, even in difficult moments. Reflecting, we see Mary as mother, not only of the physical body of Jesus, but also of his spiritual body - the Church. In her silent presence, prayers and sacrifices she assists at the death of Christ at Calvary and also at Pentecost, giving rise to the new community of believers. Around her gather the frightened disciples from whom the Master was taken away. Here they can experience Mary’s maternal care, which did not stop, after she left the world. According to R. Laurentin, it is precisely through the Assumption that the Virgin can more fully participate in the love of God towards people and thus more fully realize her motherhood towards all men. It is no wonder the Church sees in Mary not only her Advocate, but also a prototype. Like the Virgin, she wants to become a mother and give birth to new believers for Christ. Lie the Holy Mary, she desires to bring the Savior to the world and “give birth to Him” everyday through the sacraments in the hearts of the faithful. Lie Mary, the Church desires to reign, trough service of the most needy, instituting the Kingdom of God wherever she reaches. In the final analysis, the Church also looks attentively at the end of Mary’s life, seeing in her Assumption in soul and body the end and purpose of her own existence.
