Pozycja Katolickie tradycje liturgiczne w Anglii w okresie przedreformacyjnym i ich wpływ na „The Order of the Communion” z 1548 r.Grzebyk, Tomasz (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, 2018)Polish scholars dealing with the history and history of the liturgy have so far ignored or downplayed topics related to the rituals of the Holy Mass and the English liturgical traditions of the day before the Reformation. It seems unfair, especially in the context of the study of the early Reformation in England and the sources on which new liturgical forms were founded, created at the end of the first half of the sixteenth century. The article aims to approximate the customs of the diocese of Salisbury and York and compare them with the new form of Mass prepared by Thomas Cranmer. The analysis of the changes that took place at the time in the liturgy of the English state church indicates their ambiguous character. For many inhabitants of the kingdom, after 1534 (The act of supremacy) the only change was the fact that at the head of the Church, instead of the Pope, the king stood and his name was mentioned in the Canon. Almost unchanged, up to 1548, remained issues related to the liturgy of the Holy Mass (form, ordinances), while medieval Catholic liturgical customs became the ground on which the Order of Communion was created (The Order of the Communion).
