The 50th anniversary of issuing this document is a great opportunity to take a good look at the Church in Poland in the context of performing the dialog both ad intra and ad extra. The author is seeking an answer to the question to what extent the directions of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church included in the teaching of the Second Vatican Council and the Encyclical Ecclesiam suam of Paul VI concerning the essence and rules of carrying on the dialog are reflected in the Polish reality, both within the Magisterium and the everyday practice. First, he introduces the general character and types of the dialog, and, next, he presents how the dialog should be carried on, basing on the chosen texts of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Then, he presents, how the teaching about the dialogue is done by the Church in Poland, both in the ad intra (diocesan and parish pastoral councils) and ad extra context (ecumenism, Islam, Judaism). Finally, the author discusses his conclusions and pastoral postulates.Pozycja Inspiracje „Konstytucji duszpasterskiej o Kościele w świecie współczesnym” dla teologii znaków czasuFiałkowski, Marek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2016)The theology of signs of the times is an essential element of the pastoral strategy of the Church and is one of the basic theological categories related to properly discovering the mutual relations between the Church and the world. The development of that theology began during the pontificate of John XXIII, who brought back the expression “signs of the times” in ecclesial terminology and gave it new meaning. The idea of “the signs of the times” has made its imprint on the teachings of Vatican II. This article is an attempt to present the inspirations for the theology of the signs of the times contained in the Apostolic constitution On the Church in the Modern World. For that purpose the expression “signs of the times” was explained, which as of yet has no explicit definition. The article then presents the recommendations formulated by the Gaudium et spes on the ways of interpreting the signs of the times. At the end the objectives of recognition and study of the signs of the times by the Church were disclosedPozycja Pokój jako misja KościołaPrzybyłowski, Jan Kazimierz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2016)The primary mission of the Church is to proclaim Jesus Christ and realizing of salvation, which Jesus made on the cross. The cross is so true symbol of peace. Cross, thanks to the evangelizing mission of the Church, entered in the happening of any nation, but also is part of the history of humanity. This is not just a religious sign, but it’s also a symbol of human freedom. Free man may reject the Church and cross, but there is a loss of memory and Heritage Christian. Meanwhile, the real source of peace in human society is forgiveness and conversion, that is, introduction by man in his own inside of God’s law. Peace is not a utopia and is possible. And because it is possible, peace is a duty. That is why a man can and should make to the force of reason over force reasons. The Church, calling for peace, first and foremost, invited to do justice: Opus iustitiae pax – „If you want peace, work for justice”.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z ogólnopolskiego sympozjum „Kościół w zmieniającym się społeczeństwie z okazji 50-lecia ogłoszenia konstytucji duszpasterskiej o Kościele w świecie współczesnym Gaudium et spes”.
