Pozycja Katecheta wobec środków audiowizualnychKulpaczyński, Stanisław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1978)The introductory part of the article stresses that pastoral theology cannot ignore problems connected with the introduction of audio-visual aids to teaching and communication. A catechist should be aware of the changes they effect in the mentality of contemporary young people. Accordingly, the author presents ecclesiastical documents dealing with audio-visualization, in the years 1912-1971, emphasizing in particular the recommendations of the General Catechetical Instruction. Next, changes which may be observed in man of the audio-visual era are discussed. This man of amplified senses is dominated by experimental and selective grasp of the actual. Some conditions of employing audio-visual aids in catechesis are mentioned as well. It is stressed that personal contact cannot be excluded, while the new language should not only possess artistic value but be a prophetic tongue as well. Further, fundamental sound elements are discussed, such as silence, noise, rhythm, melody, song, narrative and interview. The role of sound is emphasized since it attributes certain energy to the aid strengthening their impact. The values of image are presented and briefly characterized. When discussing the catechetical criteria it is stated, according to P. Babin that sound and image can have an intrinsic religious character. A religious document and a document of strong positive faith value are differenciated. Finally, attention is drawn to a neglected, though very important problem of moulding audio-visual mentality among the catechized to enable them to interpret properly patterns consisting of words, images and sounds.Pozycja Katecheza a doświadczenie człowiekaMajewski, Mieczysław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1978)The article begins with the notion of experience which it analyzes from the catechetical point of view, proceeding subsequently to the catechesis of experience. Experiance is treated as a direct relation to the reality as such. Close interrelationship of general experience and religious experience is stressed. The latter is understood as so-called comprehensive rather than distinct experience, being the deep existential experience of man. Thus, the attitude to God results from the attitude to the actuality. When relating catechesis to experience not only its employment in catechesis is suggested (i.s. bringing catechesis closer to experience), but also creation of catechesis resulting from and immersed in experience.Pozycja Katecheza posługą słowa w KościeleCharytański, Jan (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1978)The article offers a review of various trends treating catechesis as a way of reciting the Word of God. Beginning with the post-Trent and neoscolastic catechesis the author discusses variations of the problem of biblical catechesis, i.e. the Bible in catechesis, either ensuing or co-existing. The article does not aim to present a new theory or a new concept of catechesis as the recital of the Word of God, all such theories being of fragmentary, insufficient or transient character. Their survey, however, permits to discern certain organic continuity of the study and enriches our view of the service of the Word, revealing several aspects and levels within the problem of recital. The article aims to demonstrate the dependance of the understanding of the service of the Word upon the current self-awareness of the Church, particularly the role of the laity in the life of the Church’s faith and her mission in the world. The more the role is emphasized, the more forms of catechesis depart from the classical catechism. It is also the author’s intention to stress the temporal determination of the problem of the Word recital and the resulting fragmentary and one-sided character of any solutions. Such an opinion nesessitates more comprehensive view of any search or suggestion as well as a more creative attitude founded upon the analysis of the actual catechetical situation. Thus, the author discusses the following topics: the interrelationship of catechetical and biblical catechesis, recital in biblical catechesis, the so-called ’exegetical catechesis’, and newer anthropological tredns in solving the problem of the Bible in catechesis. The discussion presented in the article concerns largely catechesis in German-speaking countries. Since biblical catechesis, however, has many outstanding representatives there the solutions suggested by the writers may be applied to other countries as well.Pozycja Wychowanie religijne w katechezie egzystencjalnejTarnowski, Janusz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1978)
