The author presents a lot of factors – for example behaviour, intelligence, knowledge – that changed the attitude of “special volunteers” in 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade (Great Britain, 1940-1944). His aim is to show the positive function of these factors in attaining higher degrees in UK Army during the last World War.
