Theology develops and formulates its reflections in the context of human presence in the world. Christian anthropology is particularly committed to this mission. Protology points to God’s original plan for the man, who is oriented towards eschatological fulfilment. Anthropology in the teachings of the Catholic Church is based on a solid foundation of the mystery of Christ. Although many things change over time, there are certain values that are not subject to such change, because they have a foundation in Christ. The Catholic Church indicates the ultimate goal of human life. Anthropology stands in the service of theology in its many dimensions. It is important to recognize the personalist dimension of theology.
