The aim of the article is to present legal and theological aspects o f the cathedral church. The first part depicts the concept and meaning of the cathedral church. The second elaborates on the problems o f furnishing and equipping of the cathedral church, and the third part is dedicated to the diocesan bishop’s relationship with his cathedral church.
