In the article I present the C. G. Jung’s individuation theory. This theory is constructed on the basis of C. G. Jung’s inner autobiography. Using the individuation theory I analyse St. Augustin’s inner biography. As a result of this I indicate at: (1) importance of data about the biography heroes’ inner life and (2) possibility of using psychological theories in biographical research.
