Pozycja Pandemia jako czynnik zmiany społecznej. Rodzina a rynek pracy i edukacjaKampka, Franciszek (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, 2021)The context of the research conducted was the family’s situation in the face of social changes related to the C0VID-19 pandemic. The study aimed to find out what challenges families face today with labour market transformations and educational changes. The methods adopted were a literature review and an analysis of found data. The results confirm that the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted or intensified many problems. The first is losing a job or financial stability, resulting in pauperisation, loss of empowerment and identity crisis. The second set of issues involves isolation, working and educating remotely, and balancing family life with work and school online. Third, personal effects include conflict, violence and mental deterioration. Finally, the global impact is, above all, a widening of social inequalities. The conclusions from the analysis results are the need to look for solutions that ensure work and fair pay. Among the proposals discussed are the ecological perspective adopted by Pope Francis, the concept of basic income (discussed, among others, in the works of Guy Standing) and new goals of education indicated by UNESCO.
