(Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2014)Uzyskanie stadium modlitwy serca wymaga od chrześcijanina głębokiej interioryzacji Słowa Bożego i wiary. Autor artykułu omawia ten proces na podstawie nauki i doświadczenia duchowego św. Augustyna, według którego człowiek pragnący zjednoczyć się z Bogiem w miłości winien „powrócić do swego serca” (rozumianego w sensie biblijnym) i wspomagany łaską Boga, „przekroczyć siebie samego” ku Niemu. Autor podaje jeszcze dwie inne drogi praktykowane dziś, prowadzące do stanu modlitwy serca: jedną, opartą na tradycyjnych metodach modlitwy myślnej uzyskującą postać głębszej medytacji; drugą, według odnowionej lectio divina, pokazując sposób dojścia do niej przez odpowiednio przeżywaną lekturę duchową Słowa Bożego (lectio), medytację nad nim (meditatio) i modlitwę wewnętrzną (oratio).
