The author of the Second Johannine Epistle connects the progress in the church with values like a truth and a love. Puts an attention on the reflection about Christ’s Incarnation, because in that’s way people can acknowledge the value of their own humanity, their life and than the practice of commandments. The most controversial statement “go ahead” seems to mean an interest in news rather than a heresy. The remedy on that – according to the author of this letter – is to abide, to be in Jesus, come into close contact, which is the source of God’s experience and knowledge about Him.
