Pozycja Ponowoczesne próby negacji człowieka jako imago DeiMazur, Jan (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Zakonu Świętego Pawła Pierwszego Pustelnika, 2025)Transhumanism, dataism, as well as other postmodern ideologies (e.g. neo-Marxism, genderism, wokeism, or elgiebetism) question the biblical truth about human as imago Dei. However, the ideas of transhumanism and dataism are distinguished by their idolatrous nature. They attempt to become “religions of the future”. The former idolizes human (homo Deus), while the latter idolizes the pantheistic “data system”. Both are dangerous to humanity because they shape the project of a new man or rather a superman. They do this without any reference to God, or even in spite of God. They completely omit the Christian ideal of the “man of God” (homo Dei), and at the same time promise to bring humanity to the state of divinity (homo Deus). From a Christian point of view, any attempts to deny the truth about human as imago Dei are unacceptable. In the public discourse on this subject, integral anthropology can play an important role. It combines theological thought with philosophical thought into a harmonious whole. It emphasizes the central biblical truth about man as a being called to life “in the image and likeness of God”. The analysis of the postmodern attack on human as imago Dei was carried out within six points: 1. Introductory remarks, 2. Negation of God as negation of man, 3. The face of transhumanism, 4. «Homo Deus» or «homo Dei»?, 5. The temptation of dataism, 6. Conclusion. The considerations included, for example, two “religions of the future” ‒ transhumanism and dataism. They were identified as ideologies that are a mixture of errors already known in the past ‒ gnosis and paganism.Pozycja Współczesny atak na człowieka jako «imago Dei», red.
