Pozycja Biblijne rozumienie świadectwaChrostowski, Waldemar (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2012)According to Biblical perspective, there is a double meaning of witness. First, God is the Witness of important events and moral choices made by people, and Jesus Christ gives the true witness, revealing who God is. Second, people are obliged to be faithful to God, what is realized with their actions and words by which they become witnesses of God’s effective presence in the world. Giving true witness to God is realized in two dimensions: ad intram, towards the other members of Israel and the Church, and ad extram, towards those, who does not know God. Christians should be ready to give the true witness to God who revealed Himself in Jesus Christ, even until martyrdom.
