Pozycja Apostolische Auslandsreisen von Papst Franziskus, darunter Missionsreisen, in den wichtigsten nationalen Internetportalen (Jahr 2016)Wrzos, Marcin (Wydział Teologiczny UKSW w Warszawie, 2019)In its activity, the Catholic Church has used and uses the media. At the beginning, magazines, radio, television, and finally the Internet as well as so-called new media were taken into consideration. This latter one quite effectively displaces the previously used ones and becomes a place of communication. In the research undertaken, the most important Polish opinion leading websites were analyzed (www.onet.pl, www.wp.pl, www.interia.pl, www.gazeta.pl, www.o2.pl and www.fakt.pl) in terms of publishing texts concerning six foreign apostolic journeys of Pope Francis, including missionary ones in 2016. The number, quality, type and time of publication were examined, as well as pastoral conclusions regarding the presence of papal missions and ecclesiastical activities in secular websites. On this basis, answer the following hypotheses, the first one: “Media in Poland informs about pilgrimages Pope Francis (quantitative and qualitative)” – is unconfirmed. The second one: “Spiritual preparation for using new media and inform about issues related to the Church is appropriate” – is unconfirmed; third: “The number of information and the way of informing about pilgrimages is insufficient” – confirmed.Pozycja “Countryside Cathedrals”? Communicating Meanings Through the Sacred Architecture of J.P. Dziekoński in the Diocese of Łomża within Its Current Borders. Part IIMojżyn, Norbert (Wydział Teologiczny UKSW w Warszawie, 2019)This article revives the memory of a slightly forgotten architect Józef Pius Dziekoński and his work on the territory of today’s Łomża diocese, putting it in the perspective of the communication theory. The popularity of Dziekoński’s neo-Gothic structures, also known as “countryside cathedrals”, is analyzed with the model of communicating symbolic messages (sender – architect; message – buildings; receivers – the faithful, onlookers). The decision on analyzing Dziekoński’s works was influenced by two factors: 1) This architecture has not been sufficiently studied in respect of communicating meanings; 2) There has been no study to analyze only Dziekoński’s churches built on today’s territory of Łomża diocese. The aim of this paper is to present the historical and ideological context which determined the character of those sacred buildings and their communication role, especially as opposed to the Byzantine- Russian architecture imposed at that time by the Tsarist administration.Pozycja Media visibility after death on the example of Chris Cornell and his official Facebook fanpagePastwa, Rafał Jakub (Wydział Teologiczny UKSW w Warszawie, 2019)Nowadays, the basic principle of marketing, also on Facebook, is the direct contact with the recipient. The Internet is currently a place of unlimited possibilities of contact and reaching out to various types of information, people and products. Now, all possible goods are subject to progressive commercialization and submit to market logic. An interesting issue in this context is the management of “media visibility’ after the death of a given person. The main purpose of the article was to investigate how Chris Cornell’s death affected the “media visibility’ of the official profile of the music on Facebook.Pozycja Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to the youth todayPater, Dariusz (Wydział Teologiczny UKSW w Warszawie, 2019)As Christians, we must do everything to ensure that the Gospel of the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, is genuinely passed on to future generations – especially to young people. We should also do all we can to let people know the meaning of the liberating work of God’s power. In this way, the human condition becomes united with the redeeming love, and ultimately acts as a power against evil in the world. Various forms of youth participation in the Church can, and should, be understood as “Ecclesia”. The community of the Church is not only constituted by adults, the Church manifests itself not only by the presence of church structures and the pastoral work with young people, but it is young people who shape the Church through their participation. The message of the Gospel challenges young people by formulating a promise and an expectation. Understanding and accepting the Gospel is a condition for young people to enter the community of the Church.Pozycja Public relations w służbie Kościoła.
