Pozycja Czy życie duchowe jest nadal zasadniczym wstrząsem? Jan Patočka i koncepcja człowieka posthistorycznegoWieczorek, Krzysztof (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)According to Patočka, man is subjectivity set in a specific historical context. To understand man, we must get to know his inner world and his Lebenswelt. Patočka describes the following forms of Lebenswelt: a nonhistorical period, a prehistorical period and history proper, which begins with the “spiritual shock”. The question about the decadence of the scientific and technical civilization suggests that last-mentioned period is nearing its end. Continuing Patočka’s thought, the author proposes to introduce the fourth, i.e., the post-historic period, and identifies its characteristics. The central problem is the way in which the inner tension between corporality and spirituality is experienced by the contemporary man. In the author’s opinion, it is this relationship, which is marked by an excessive interest in corporeality and a simultaneous reevaluation of spiritual life understood in the perspective of reductionism, that most clearly distinguishes the post-historic times from the earlier epochs in history.Pozycja Dziewice konsekrowane w relacji do Kościoła partykularnegoAdamczyk, Jerzy (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)Jedną z istotnych cech charakterystycznych stanu dziewic jest silna więź duchowa i kanoniczna z Kościołem partykularnym i z biskupem. Refleksje w świetle posynodalnej adhortacji apostolskiej „Christus vivit”Chrobak, Stanisław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)As Pope Francis asserts, youth cannot be a period of suspension; on the contrary, it is the age of decision, which is precisely the essence of its charm and its greatest challenge. Young age is the time for commitment, creativity and proactive development of one’s biography. Thus, building the young must be the subject of authentic concern, while a reflection on young age will not only help those who are currently achieving or experiencing that age, but also to anyone willing to maintain their young spirit forever. In this context, presentation of images that reveal the very essence of young age, encompassing a particular idea of a human being, a concept of the world and a hierarchy of values, demonstrates the originality and uniqueness of the enthusiasm expressed by a young person pursuing their dreams and choices. The Pope emphasizes that the features typical of a young heart include readiness to transform, an ability to rise and to accept the lessons of life.Pozycja Ochrona dziecka z perspektywy cywilnoprawnej – wybrane zagadnieniaKałdon, Barbara Małgorzata (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)Care for the welfare of the youngest family members is one of the main goals of the legislator. A properly functioning family does not require state interference as long as it does not deviate from the generally accepted standards. However, if such a situation occurs, it is necessary to undertake legal mechanisms aimed at restoring the proper functioning of the family. Consequently, various branches of the law regulate instruments to help the family overcome the crisis which it undergoes. The article presents selected areas of civil law child protection referring to such issues as prohibition of using corporal punishment against a minor and the consequences of its violation, other forms of abusing parental authority, as well as the regulation of certain relations between parents and children.Pozycja Pojęcie profilaktyki jako działaniaSalamucha, Agnieszka (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)The paper concerns the concept of social prevention as a special kind of action. My aim is to define the characteristics of this concept (and – indirectly – the phenomenon of social prevention) with the tools of analysis proposed by Nicholas Rescher (1966, 215-220): (1) agent (who did the action?); (2) act-type (what did she do?); (3) modality of action (how did she/he do the action?): a. modality of manner (in what manner did she/he do the action?), b. modality of means (by what means did she/he do the action?); (4) setting of action (in what context did she/he do the action?): a. temporal aspect (when did she/he do the action?), b. spatial aspect (where did she/he do the action?), c. circumstantial aspect (under what circumstances did she/he do the action?); (5) rationale of action (why did she/he do the action?): a. causality (what caused her/him to do the action?), b. finality (with what aim did she/he do the action?), c. intentionality (in what state of mind did she/he do the action?).Pozycja Proces wycofania hikikomorich na przykładzie 24 hikikomorich japońskichKalita, Karolina (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)In this paper I present a fragment of the results of my doctoral thesis, in which assuming in the sociological perspective that I am dealing with an example or a form of one of five types of adaptation to the situation of anomie, named by the American sociologist Robert K. Merton “retreatism”, described on the example of 24 Japanese hikikomori clients a problem being at the center of my scientific interests – the shakaiteki hikikomori (Eng. social withdrawal) in Japan (i.a. the profile of hikikomori person, the retreatism process of hikikomori people, the socio-cultural factors favoring the retreatism option in the form of hikikomori etc.) More specifically, in this paper I present the retreatism process of hikikomori people.Pozycja Spór o filozofię chrześcijańską w polskiej prasie katolickiej lat pięćdziesiątych i sześćdziesiątych XX wiekuTyl, Mirosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)The objective of the article is to outline the debates on the concept of Christian philosophy that took place in the Polish Catholic press at the end of the 1950s and throughout the 1960s, covering issues related to the role of philosophy in shaping and formation of believers, or to theoretical matters. Over the years, the discussions became more mature. The dispute over Christian philosophy was primarily a dispute with Thomism, which was accused of being closed and focused on its hermetic internal issues, as well as its integralism towards contemporary philosophy and science. The opportunity for the first debates was created by the meeting of philosophers organised by the Club of Catholic Intelligentsia (KIK) in Warsaw in 1960. The second round began with A. Siemianowski’s text in Więź, published in 1963, and the third resulted from J. Tischner’s philosophical publications in the second half of the 1960s. These discussions anticipated J. Tischner’s dispute with existential Thomism, which took place in the 1970s.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego w Krakowie w roku seminaryjnym 2019/2020Paszek, Adam (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego w Lądzie nad Wartą w roku seminaryjnym 2019/2020Dynak-Michalski, Dariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)Pozycja Wartość „dojrzała miłość” w systemie wartości młodzieżyWojciechowska, Mariola; Adamczyk, Dariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)As regards the axiological hierarchy, the love-as-a-gift is particularly important in interpersonal relations. It means the value of a person–as-a-gift to another person. The complete experience of love between a man and a woman demands its ethical dimension. Its natural fulfilment is marriage as self-giving. Studies conducted among high school youth with the use of Milton Rokeach’s RVS Scale, confirm that the value of mature love in the group of terminal values, and the value of loving in the group of instrumental values are highly cherished. The leading (central) position of the analysed values indicates their impact upon young people’s behaviour.Pozycja Wychowanie katolickie w sytuacji pandemii koronawirusa (2020 r.) na przykładzie szkół i uczelni wyższych w PolsceDomaszk, Arkadiusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)The Catholic Church carries out the mission of educating, among others, by schools and universities. Subsequently, the study presents selected legal decisions and indications of the Catholic Church in Poland in an epidemic situation. Through the undertaken activities, the Church has shown its adaptive capacity as regards the pandemic. Internet communication tools were used in remote school and academic teaching.Pozycja Zakład zdrojowy diecezji przemyskiej w Brzozowie 1927-1948Piekarski, Stanisław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2021)The purpose of this article is to present aspects related to building and maintaining health and leisure centre of the Przemyśl Diocese in Brzozow ‒ largely based on voluntary taxation. The Diocese was the most successful in this area of health prevention in the interwar period. Within several months, the faithful of the Church and the clergy of this region ‒ under the aegis of Bishop Anatol Nowak ‒ managed to open in summer 1927 the magnificent spa facility with its own brine and baths accessible for clergy and seminarians. No Polish professional community recorded such success in the interwar period. The health and leisure centre was manager under the authority of the bishopric by the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate from Nowa Wieś. During the occupation The Przemyśl Seminary was placed in the centre. In parallel, both German and Soviet soldiers used the spa facility. After the war, the spa did not manage to return to its pre-war splendor. It definitively ceased to exist in 1948.
