Pozycja Analiza modlitwy eucharystycznej H Kościoła AngliiBosak, Dominik (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)The article is dedicated to the analysis of one of the eucharistic prayers of the Church of England, which is Eucharistic Prayer H. It is the shortest eucharistic prayer among all others included in the main volume of Common Worship. The structure of the Prayer presents dialogical pattern, and this is one of the elements that makes the prayer unique among other eucharistic prayers of the Church of England. The dialogical character supports understanding of the Eucharist as an event that is celebrated in the community and by the community, against individualistic tendencies. A fundamental aspect of the Prayer is its theocentric character. The text shows that God the Father is at the center of the Eucharistic prayer, for He is the primary addressee of the Prayer. An important issue related to the Prayer is also its deep relation with the Tradition of the Church. The analysis of the text confirms that the content of the Prayer is strongly based on the Bible and the theology of the Church Fathers. Even though this fundamental heritage is preserved, the Prayer receives innovative solutions which bring freshness to the liturgy of the Church of England.Pozycja Dyskurs liturgiczny. Uprzedmiotowienie zjawiskaKlementowicz, Michał (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)The functioning of a group of people which can correctly identify a system of signs and its accompany rules determines semiotic coherence. It gives rise to a discursive community wherein utterances are addressed to a particular listener in accordance with the principles of semiology and textology. This text addresses the criterion for the functioning in such a community of “thought exchange”– ie. a “discursive community” within the context of the celebration of liturgy. Determining its features and accompanying principles permits a definition of the term “liturgical discourse” which is then accomplished in the following steps: – systematized, a typology of texts appearing in the liturgy; – the concept of discursive community, allowing for the clarification of the concept of “liturgical discourse”; – “textological norms” for selected texts used in the celebration of the liturgy.Pozycja Hören – bedenken – antworten: zur Dynamik des AntwortpsalmsWilla, Josef-Anton (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)The purpose of this article is to define the nature and meaning of the responsorial psalm, which is a new element in the liturgy of the Mass since the renewal of the Second Vatican Council. The basic research problem is to what extent the responsorial psalm shows, in liturgical practice, an implementation of the fundamental principles of the Council’s reform of the liturgy. Therefore the following criteria for liturgical renewal were analyzed in the context of the psalm: emphasis of the role of the Bible in the liturgy; appreciation of singing as an essential part of sacred activities; the active participation of all the faithful; and diversity of liturgical ministries. The entire article is set against the background of the history and theology of changes in this element of the liturgy.Pozycja Obrzędy pogrzebu chrześcijańskiego w czasie pandemiiAraszczuk, Stanisław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)As a result of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, Christian funeral rites started to be celebrated based on the introduced restrictions rather than liturgical norms. More and more frequently, funerals were held without a priest or a Mass. Funeral rites connected with body cremation and interring the urn in a grave were often applied. Those customs may continue to affect the method of celebrating funeral rites also after the pandemic. Therefore, special care should be taken in pastoral practice to ensure the proper celebration of Christian funeral rites. In this formation, we should remember that for a Christian, his/her entire life started with Holy Baptism should be a gradual preparation for death viewed in the Paschal dimension as the meeting with God.Pozycja Ordained and Baptized Ministries Through the Lens of Liturgical SingingHaspelmath-Finatti, Dorothea (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)After decades of ecumenical dialogue, the understanding of the relationship between the ministries of the baptized and the ordained continues to be a dividing matter between churches and traditions. This paper suggests that liturgical singing, in which individual and communal song with specific roles become a single and unified liturgical action, offers a model aiming to contribute to the bridging of this persistent divide. Liturgical theologians have in recent times begun to analyse the fabric of liturgical artistic activities and the complex relationship between the different ministries involved. Here, the dialogue with neurobiological research has helped theology to better understand the roles and functions of the single voice and the group of voices woven into the liturgical texture. This paper proposes that a better understanding of the functioning and the aesthetic nature of liturgical singing puts a new hermeutical tool at the service of the ecumenical dialogue on ministry.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności naukowo-dydaktycznej Sekcji Liturgiki i Homiletyki KUL w roku akademickim 2021/2022Megger, Andrzej (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)Pozycja Świętość w czasie: rok liturgiczny w ekonomii zbawieniaMegger, Andrzej (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2022)The liturgical year is the celebration of the mystery of Christ and of His salvific work over time. The Chosen People sanctify time because God reveals and acts through various events within it. The Jewish theologian Abraham Joshua Heschel teaches that time is an attribute of God and of holiness. Time permeates and subordinates space, because it is the very presence of Yahweh Himself. The paschal mystery of Jesus Christ is the fullness of time but not its completion. It is not only man and the whole of creation which are renewed, but time also is purified, because the resurrection becomes the center of the mystery of time. The content of the liturgical year is the Savior, so in the liturgy the time of the celebration anticipates as well the time of God himself, that is, eternity. In this way, time lived in the Church becomes an instrument of sanctification.
