Jacka, 2000)The aim of this article is an attempt to explain how the concepts of truth, true, truly are understood in the Hebrew Bible. The definitions of these concepts are constructed through careful analysis of the meaning of 23 Hebrew terms which are used in a given Hebrew Bible verse as their opposition. To ensure we do not go beyond the limits of Biblical understanding of these oppositions, their meaning was taken solely from the context of their usages in the Hebrew Bible. Having constructed the meanings of those terms in a such way, the concepts of truth, true, truly were defined as their opposition. The methodological approach which lays behind this construction is that the idea of truth could be established by negation of the idea of false. In the last section which systematizes and summarizes my research: 1) ten definitions of truth, true, truly are given; 2) the logical, ontological, epistemological, axiological and moral aspects of truth are recognized; 3) the proportion of appearances of those aspects are calculated; and 4) the relationships between presented definitions are stated. A short discussion of how the achieved results fit into what has been already discovered by scholars closes this section. The index of all 23 Hebrew tenus in question with their vocalizations, original Hebrew writing, frequency count and their codes in the leading Concordances are given in the list of references.Pozycja Teologia Arki Przymierza w Ps 132, Jr 3,14-18 oraz 2 Mch 2,1-8Mozgol, Andrzej (Księgarnia Św. Jacka, 2000)There is an essential difference between the biological (empirical) and theological description of a man. Originating from asking different questions, this difference results in different explanations. A biologist explains a man in terms of his past considering his position in the evolutionary development of life. A theologist, in turn, explains a man in the context of future and asks questions concerning the aim of his existence in the World created by God. The ignorance of the above differences was the reason of a conflict between natural and theological concepts of the formation of the first human being. In view of the Bible description of Man, the theologists were definitely against the evolutionary interpretation of the human origin. On the other hand, in view of the theory of evolution, the biologists negated the creation of the first Man. The theologists talking about the „how” of human appearance attempted to answer biological questions, while the philosophical theological problems were discussed by the biologists, whose interest was focused on the questions of human „what” and „who”. The fault of both consisted of an attempt for totally explaining the Man within one epistemological platform. The conflict between biology and theology became less serious after confining methodological reflection of these two branches of science to the subject and limits of their cognition. Biology did not attempt to find full explanation of the origins of all essential human features any more, whilst theology did not try to develop more precise description the „how” of human origin. The conflict definitely disappeared as soon as biologists and theologists agreed that their research programmes are not unique and that the correct description of Man requires a simultaneous development of both or even more programmes.Pozycja Koncepcja człowieka w filozofii Gabriela MarcelaPanek, Marek (Księgarnia Św. Jacka, 2000)After Gabriel Marcel, human being is a principal subject of any philosophical research. Only the understanding of a human being makes it possible to understand the world. A philosopher reaches the mystery of human existence when personally and internally experiencing himself. However, a philosopher never explains the reality recognised in his internal experience; he keeps describing it. Human being is permanently directed towards development, towards the search of the fullness of his existence. This is done by realising interpersonal relations – especially, all ,,I”–„you” relations. This type of relations are initiated on the basis of the specific identity between the human „I” and other human beings, when a new reality ,,us” is being created. In the „I”–„you” relations the second person discovers the subject-one for himself. The human being attains his full identity exclusively in the case of another person becoming for him a „you” The principal kinds of the ,,I”–„you” relations are: love, hope and believe definitely unified with faith. In these relations human being transcends himself and participates either in the human „you”, or in the divine „YOU”.Pozycja Prawne implikacje magisterium papieża Jana Pawła II o miłości małżeńskiejPastwa, Andrzej (Księgarnia Św.
