Pozycja Tajemnica antychrysta. Refleksja nad zagadnieniem od epoki ojców Kościoła do czasów współczesnychSperling, Sylwia (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)People who lives in our times do not treat the Antichrist seriously. They can’t because they watch more dangerous monsters in television and in news. But in the ancient times, when the Fathers of Church built a theological doctrine, the Antichrist was treaten more seriously. In the first ages of Christianity, people were far from dismissive attitude towards this opponent of Christ, who is mentioned in Holy Bible. Questions that Christians have asked themselves over a thousand five hundred years ago are still valid today too, even if they are fed to the fore when it comes to the critical challenges facing the Catholic Church. The aim of the article is a presentation some interpretation issues of antichrist, with particular emphasis on the Fathers of the Church, by discussing the state of reflection in later centuries.Pozycja Czy żyjemy w państwie po-suwerennym?Jasiński, Karol (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)This article has two parts: 1) analysis of the concept of sovereignty and proposal of some ways to its understanding; 2) analysis of the socio-political area of human life, where we actually exist in the post-sovereign state. In the first part the author discussed the history of the concept of sovereignty (Middle Ages, J. Bodin, T. Hobbes, G.W.F. Hegel, J. Maritain) and its main senses (sovereignty as a form of absolute, constant and sacred power; sovereignty as full autonomy of authority in relation to different parts of society, and its supremacy). In the second part the author analyzed the political system of the state in the era of globalization and integration and its consequences (foundation of supranational communities and structures; benefits; imposing rights and standards of legal solutions; limiting the right of veto; adoption of a common currency and citizenship; lack of some political competences). As a result, sovereignty becomes merely a useful fiction, and many people believe that they actually live in the post-sovereign state.Pozycja M. Heller, Bóg i geometria. Gdy przestrzeń była Bogiem, Copernicus Center Press, Kraków 2016, ss. 311.Kaczmarek, Piotr (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)Pozycja Organizacja, przewodniczenie oraz udział w sympozjach i konferencjach naukowych ks. Wojciecha Guzewicza w latach 2001-2016Guzewicz, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)Presented list of papers and lectures, and also participation in organization and conducting symposiums and conferences, is the first documentation relating to academic achievements of rev. Wojciech Guzewicz. This list includes the years 2001-2016, i.e. first fifteen years of academic work after obtaining a doctoral degree in May 2001. On this list, there are about 80 academics meetings, including more than 60 when papers and lectures were given. Among the types of symposiums and conferences, there are international and national as well as regional and local. This documentation shows rev. Guzewicz as the organizer of several symposiums, including international and national. Subjects discussed during symposiums and conferences concerned three branches: history, social communication, media and administration.Pozycja Różnice i podobieństwa pomiędzy cłem a podatkiem jako daninami publicznymi pobieranymi w międzynarodowym obrocie towarowym – wybrane zagadnieniaDrozdek, Adam (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)The article constitutes another contribution to the debate regarding the place of customs in the system of public levies. Customs have been for ages seen as a benefit collected from persons trading internationally. Currently, the institution of customs as the only public levy collected by Polish customs authorities, contributes not only to the state budget, but it primarily constitutes income of a public-law union, that is, the European Union. Customs is frequently an element of trade policy of the European Union and predominantly provides protection for the Union market, it is aimed at preventing import of selected goods. Nevertheless, it has always performed a fiscal function as the public-law union’s income.Pozycja Thomistic Personalism in Dialogue with Modern Depictions of KenosisMcCall, Bradford (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)If one looks at Wojtyla’s Love and Responsibility, they can see a number of different ways that he applies Thomistic Personalism. According to him, true personal love must include both an objective and a subjective dimension. Wojtyla refers to the law of ekstasis, according to which the lover goes outside the self to find a fuller existence in another. Moreover, the defining characteristic of betrothed love is self-donation. Picking up on Wojtyla’s characterization of betrothed love as self-donation, I argue that the bible gives good grounds for illustrating the Spirit as the active agent of God in the world, particularly regarding the Spirit as life-giver and animator of all creation through selfdonation (or self-giving). The kenosis of the Spirit into creation amounts to betrothed love through self-donation. Thomas Jay Oord’s depiction of “essential kenosis” makes numerous asseverations that are constructive for depicting love as self-donation. Several years ago, a collection of essays by theologians and scientists explored creation as The Work of Love, pointing to divine action as kenosis in which it is asserted that the Spirit has chosen to invite creation into a cooperative relationship, which also coalesces with Wojtyla’s conception of love as self-donation. Ultimately, I contend, the essence of personal love is transcended by self-giving. In the final analysis, we are given the capacity of self-possession in order to be able to give ourselves away. The essence of the self, therefore, is to transcend the self through betrothed self-donated love.Pozycja Początki kultu św. Stanisława Papczyńskiego w EłkuSawicki, Ryszard (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)This article devoted to the devotions to St. Stanislaw Papczynski in Elk is a theological-pastoral reflection not so much on the forms of these devotions but rather on discovering signs of God’s action in them. The miracles, acknowledged by the Church during the beatification and canonization of St. Stanislaw Papczynski, related to human life at its beginning and its end. It is a telltale sign for the current times, when the value of human life is questioned. Therefore, raising Fr. Stanislaw Papczynski to the glory of the altars cannot merely go down in history, it is to be a seed sown in the soil of the contemporary Church to still bear new fruits of mature Christian life.Pozycja Interdyscyplinarne spojrzenie na czas – między ekonomią a teologiąBłąd, Marta; Kaczmarek, Piotr (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2017)The article is an attempt at an interdisciplinary look at time. The concept of time is equivocal, and thus interpreted differently by various sciences. The presentation of time issue starts with the domain of economics, by describing time by means of using economic categories such as market, supply, demand, value, price, profit and loss. The economic analysis is concentrated around a question how much time costs, and how much free time costs. Further on the issue is presented from a philosophical perspective, followed by theological concepts of time. They all are linked by a reference to Christian understanding of time based on the person of Jesus Christ, who became “the fullness of time” and the centre of the history. The interdisciplinary analysis enables looking at time as an assignment, the taking of which by a man in his earthly life makes him open to the eternity.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z sympozjum naukowego pt. „Od kleryka do kapłana.
