Pozycja Das II. Gebot des DekalogsMüller, Gerhard Ludwig (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The purpose of this article is to show the meaning of God’s name mentioned in the second commandment of the Decalogue. It is about God revealing Himself in both the Old and New Testaments. The Author explains whether there is respect for God’s name. In addition, he points to such attitudes that are a failure to respect the second commandment, that is, sins against God’s name.Pozycja Towarzyszenie duszpasterskie młodym małżeństwom w świetle posynodalnej adhortacji apostolskiej „Amoris laetitia”Fedorowski, Konrad (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Pope Francis makes many efforts related to the pastoral assistance of marriage and family, especially those who has life wounds, crises, betrayals and conflicts. As a result of this concern is exhortation Amoris laetitia. The exhortation pays a lot of attention to the young people, who finds a lot of difficult to build a marriage based on Christ. In his pastoral recommendations he talks the need to assist fiance and bride in preparation for their wedding, to accompany a newly married couple in the first years of marriage. Furthermore, Francis encourages specific pastoral activities to defend the truth about marriage and family.Pozycja Udział polskich księży katolickich w wojnie rosyjsko-japońskiej (1904-1905) w przekazie prasy polskiejBębenek, Marek (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The article presents the role of Polish clergy in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-1905 on the basis of press publications of the time. Tens of thousands of Poles took part in this conflict. Their engagement in this war is still little known. Even less known is the involvement of Polish Catholic priests in this war. The author has analyzed about 50 Polish-language magazines published in Polish territories under the Russian partition. The work contains memoirs from the war front, included in letters written by Polish Catholic priests, their opinions and accounts. These men played a great role at the war front. They provided spiritual support and raised the morale of Polish soldiers. They helped to treat the wounded and performed daily field-duties. Catholic priests were treated with great respect and recognition.Pozycja Hermeneutyka doświadczenia religijnego. Tropy i przyczynek do dyskusjiBondzio, Tomasz (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)When we talk about the definition of “religious experience”, even in a theological approach, we can see justified ambivalence. The centuries-long reflection on this issue, from the analysis of biblical texts to patristic thought, the reflections of theologians, and the decisions of the Church’s Teacher’s Office, leads to a multiplicity and variety of conclusions. However, the leaps of development and changes with the category of experience do not contradict Revelation. The article does not exhaust the issue of religious experience in its entirety, but it does give a clear signal of the importance of the problem and contributes to further research in philosophy, psychology, and theology. The text presents the results of the research, which gives the possibility to apply them to contemporary theological thought. It can be seen that religious experience is not something static and finite, but is something dynamic and multidimensional.Pozycja Liturgia w relacji do duchowości i mistyki chrześcijańskiejBartocha, Waldemar (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The aim of this article is to present the mutual relationships between the liturgy and Christian spirituality and mysticism based on the paradigm that the liturgy is the source and summit of the Christian spiritual life. Starting from the Council’s and Catechism’s definition of liturgy and showing against this background its close relationship with Christian spirituality and mysticism, the author concludes that it is in liturgical spirituality that the organic synthesis of the triad liturgy-spirituality-mysticism is most intensely visible. Liturgy is the source of faith, and it is an event in which God comes, speaks and acts. Christian spirituality and mysticism becomes the fruit of faith rooted in the soil of grace given in the liturgy. The development of the spiritual life is implanted in Christ in the liturgy, implanted in the Eucharist, which is the greatest gift and special good of the whole Church. After spirituality, mysticism appears as its consequence, which by its very nature demands liturgy, since it is nourished by the experienced and contemplated mystery. Liturgy, on the other hand, gains spiritual deepening through mysticism, because mysticism understood as the experience of the mystery proclaimed, celebrated, assimilated and lived leads to a gradual mystical union of the person of the faithful with the venerable person of Jesus Christ and makes it easier for the spirit of prayer rooted in the dynamic mystery of the Present Lord to be incarnated in daily life.Pozycja Aktualne wyzwania w formacji ludzkiej, red. P. Kwiatkowski, Wydawnictwo Gaudentinum, Gniezno 2021, ss. 109.Sieńkowski, Marcin (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Pozycja Charles Sanders Peirce’s Evolutionary Developmental TeleologyMcCall, Bradford L. (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)With this author writing from and working in a context that is partially indebted to process theology, the following essay does not defend the God of classical theism; that is, the omniscient, omnipotent, immutable God defended by Thomas Aquinas in the Summa theologiae, for example. In some very real sense, this essay may only make sense in the context of process theology as appropriated by some Wesleyan theologians, such as Thomas Jay Oord. For example, I make the contention that primordial chaos only makes sense in a process theology that denies of God creatio ex nihilo and instead asserts the co-eternality of the material universe and God. My overall inclination toward process theology will also become clear in that I describe the mediation of the Holy Spirit on and in the universe in ways that resemble the “persuasive power” of God as described by Alfred North Whitehead. As such, Peirce’s teleology is more than a mere purposive pursuit of a predetermined end; it is a developmental teleology. Thus, final causes evolve, and they are not static. Teleology emerged out of the increasing complexification of life on earth. God gives himself away in act of uncontrolling love without any conditions regarding the potential responses to that love. The many and varied manifestations of complexity that (macro-)evolution has given rise to can be seen as a fulfillment of the teleological goals of God. The kenotic creating Spirit is present “in, with, and under” the processes of biological evolution.Pozycja Pluriformità nell’unità: una forma della Chiesa di oggi. Una proposta per rinnovare la parrocchiaMalinowski, Łukasz (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The Church must continually ask herself how to be a witness of the Gospel to the world in which she lives. In her work of evangelization even today, therefore, the Church must deal with the socio-cultural context that she faces, characterized by an increasingly plural society and by continuous changes that have affected the institution, gestures and tools of the Christian tradition. It is therefore urgent that the Church make a critical reflection on her identity and her pastoral activity and, attentive to the signs of the times, try to review and renew her form and structures, beginning with the parish, a privileged place for the construction of the christian community and her mission. Since the parish is traditionally considered the «home of all», it is the place where the differences that animate the Church are most evident; therefore, it is called to enhance all the ecclesial experiences that arise from the different charisms. The parish and all the associations and groups present in it represent various forms in which the Church is realized. With this article I want to demonstrate that pluriformity in unity can be the form of the Church today, because the more plural and complex the society is, the more the Churchʼs proposal must be pluriform if she wants Christ to reach everyone. Pluriformity shows different forms of the Christian experience that express the unity of the Church. It is therefore an expression of the Churchʼs liveliness and catholicity. It also recalls that the subject of the Churchʼs mission is never the individual, but a community, a reflection of the communio that the Church lives in every part of the world.Pozycja Krzyż i siła łaski. Ks. diakon Piotr Bortkiewicz (1978-2019), red. W. Guzewicz, Wydawnictwo Civitas et Lex, Ełk 2020, ss. 207.Żylińska, Alina (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Pozycja Wizerunek małżeństwa i rodziny na stronach internetowych warmińskich parafiiCzupryński, Wojsław (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The modern world, largely dominated by information and communication technology, poses new pastoral challenges, one of them evangelization and catechization on the Internet. This study was aimed at investigating and analyzing the image of marriage and family on parish websites in the Archdiocese of Warmia. The qualitative analysis of informational and visual messages on marriage and family available on parish websites of the Archdiocese of Warmia showed that the content on these issues is rarely updated. Information is limited to the conditions for entering the sacrament of marriage and preparing the betrothed to confer this sacrament upon each other. It is sometimes extended to other pastoral aspects such as encouraging families to pray together, celebrating family events, organizing holidays for children and youth, offering information on the domestic church community. Therefore, more attention must be paid to the importance of parish websites in creating the image of marriage and family. In order for this space to be fully utilized, seminary alumni must be properly prepared in the fields of media education and pastoral family care.Pozycja Bibliografia piśmiennictwa duchowieństwa diecezji ełckiej w latach 1992-2017 (ks.
