Pozycja Kształcenie nauczycieli religii rzymskokatolickiej w Polsce – między formacją teologiczno-katechetyczną a pedagogizacjąZellma, Anna (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The training of teachers of Roman Catholic religion in Poland is carried out at universities – at the faculties of theology – as part of uniform five-year master’s degree studies or two-year (four-semester) postgraduate studies. The Church ensures the quality of both subject matter (theological) and catechetical preparation, as well as pedagogical preparation of future religion teachers. Current ministerial standards of pedagogical education in Poland are considered important. The analyses undertaken in this paper highlight the fact that the presence of religion lessons in Polish schools requires the reliable preparation of future religion teachers to perform didactic, educational and caring tasks. It also raises the need to pay more attention to the personal and spiritual development of religion teachers. It is, above all, the Roman Catholic Church that is responsible for the quality of theological and catechetical and pedagogical education of those people to whom it gives a mission to teach religion in Polish schools. It is supported in these activities by external entities (e.g. the Ministry of National Education and Science). The above-mentioned activities ensure that the education of teachers of Roman Catholic religion in Poland is integral and, at the same time, adequate for contemporary educational tasks. In the training of Roman Catholic religion teachers, a balance between theological and catechetical and pedagogical formation can be observed. This is visible both in the content and forms of education, where it is preferred to combine theory with practice. This is achieved by internships of theology students carried out in primary schools and various types of secondary schools. Such an integrated approach to the training of religion teachers seems to be the most professional.Pozycja Obraz Jezusa w nowożytnej fazie żydowskiego średniowieczaSkierkowski, Marek (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Different Jewish thinkers were interested in Jesus since antiquity. But until the modern times they had spoken about him very little and rather negatively. In the sixteenth century a new stage of this interest appeared because several Jews began to look at Jesus with widely opened eyes. They were ready to know critically Jesus on the basis of Christian sources. This paper presents view of Solomon ibn Verga, Abraham Farissol, Jehuda Karmi, Leo Modena, Baruch Spinoza and Jacob Emden. In this way they showed that a profound communication should precede any formal dialogue between Judaism and Christianity.Pozycja Benedykt XVI, Matka Boga. Maryja w wierze Kościoła, Wydawnictwo WAM, Kraków 2019, ss. 206.Sieńkowski, Marcin (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Pozycja Avian Theology of Johann Heinrich ZornDrozdek, Adam (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Johann Heinrich Zorn (1698-1748) was a pastor in Bavaria and an amateur but competent ornithologist. Following the many physico-theological books published in the 18th century, he wrote his Petinotheologie in which he used ornithological knowledge for theological and spiritual purposes. He included extensive descriptions of the anatomy, physiology, living and migration patterns of birds to show the orderliness and harmony in each aspect of avian lives, which was for him an undeniable proof of God’s wisdom, power, and goodness.Pozycja Plauto senza frontiere. Il “Miles gloriosus” nelle traduzioniKrauze, Julia (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The works of Titus Maccius Plautus and his lively and picturesque language (sermo famialiaris full of archaisms and colloquialisms but in perfect harmony with the metric norms), were characterized by a conspicuous presence of loans from the Greek language and rhetorical figures aimed at highlighting the bizarre traits of the characters and over the centuries they have been a challenge for translators from all over the world. The secret of his success that breaks down times and frontiers consist in the richness and originality of his language that continues to influence every form of artistic expression. In this article the Italian versions that range from the seventeenth to the twentieth century are examined, focusing on the versions of Lodovico Dolce and Pier Paolo Pasolini, mentioning some Polish translations of the work of Plautus (Jan Szczepan Wolfram, Gustaw Przychocki, Zygmunt Węclewski) and coming to the conclusion that the result of the translation of classical texts should be a reasonable balance between those two poles that are called the ancient and the modern.Pozycja Canon Law and Knighthood in Modern TimesTakeda, Shutaro (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)One of the fascinating intersections of the Canon law and the modern society can be found in the catholic-founded dynastic orders of knighthood. The author conducted a comprehensive review of legal debates, both in the Canon law and in the international law, to provide readers with an up-to-date understanding on this developing topic. Six major views on the appointment of knights are extracted from the review. Then, a new interpretation is proposed, wherein the legitimacy to confer honours and the legitimacy of the orders of knighthood themselves have to be considered separately. Under this method of interpretation, the criterion to judge the legitimacy of an appointment of knight is both the jus honorum of the head of the family and the order of knighthood itself being legitimate. This article provides a unique perspective on how the Canon law affects an unexpected area of the modern society.Pozycja Obecność symboli religijnych w przestrzeni publicznej w Republice WłoskiejSzewczyk, Roman (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)The issue of wearing of religious symbols by employees in the workplace and manifestation of their affiliation calls for an assessment of situations and circumstances. The case laws of the Court speak of the principle of proportionality – whether there is a balance between the manifestation of their religion and, for example, the image of the workplace and the need to keep safety rules. Religious freedom must be respected in the workplace, but only to the extent that it does not violate the rights of others. Strasbourg judicial decision was also called upon to settle the cases in which a given state uses religious symbolism. The manifestation of such an attitude by the state exposes it to be called “confessional state” and to the charge of undermining the principle of worldview neutrality. However, finding a solution to the problem is complex, and also consists in the recognition by the Court of a wide margin of discretion, appurtenant to the Member States in matters of religion. Each state, when formulating the principle of secularism or lack of religious beliefs of the state, must combine them with distinctive national traditions and create its own model, which can be difficult or even impossible to transfer to another country. The European Court of Human Rights seeks solutions that could meet the criteria and be implemented in all countries. However, the diversity of religious traditions of the Member States does not allow to draw conclusions common to the whole European community.Pozycja Ks. Marian Salamon, Życie religijne pod Krzyżem Oleckim, Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, Ełk 2020, ss. 133.Guzewicz, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Pozycja Katolicki ruch charytatywny w diecezji łomżyńskiej w okresie II Rzeczypospolitej. Cz. 1: Struktura i organizacjaGuzewicz, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2021)Charity is an integral part of the Churchʼs ministry, and active charity is one of the Christianʼs basic duties (cf. Mt 25, 35-45). The Church follows in the footsteps of her Founder, who loved us and showed us this love not only through the Sacrifice of Salvation, but also through works of mercy (cf. Mt 11, 5). Therefore, he not only proclaims the love of neighbor and obliges him to perform acts of mercy, but also gives charitable activities institutional forms, making caring for the poor one of the main tasks of the deaconʼs office (Acts 6, 1-6). In Poland, the traditions of this activity date back to the beginnings of the Piast state. Over the centuries, it was mainly animated and led by bishops and religious orders, but also brotherhoods and lay people. It was similar in the interwar period and in the Lomza diocese, except that the nature and forms of this activity were adapted to the changing socio-political conditions after the war. And so, in the first period, emphasis was placed mainly on the organizational and coordination side of charity, and since the economic crisis in 1929 and the development of Catholic Action, primarily on specific charity work and refining its methods. By charity we will understand the entire charity campaign carried out in the interwar diocese of Lomza. It was based mainly on Parish Committees of Relief, consisting mainly of Vincentian associations and Catholic Action, 2) charitable institutions and foundations; 3) the activities of religious orders, in particular the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of Saint. It is an applied psychology where we cross over to other disciplines and exchange theories and practices with a specific target of addiction recovery in mind. We could say that we are interested in learning and borrowing for the sake of problem solving within complementary disciplines. The complimentary disciplines in this A-T psychology trading zone are psychoanalytical psychodynamics and a psychoanalytical ethnographic analysis of Alcoholics Anonymous. We use the terminology in the essay of module construction, i.e. module 1) The Habituation Perspective of the Addiction Trading Zone, 2) A-T Addiction Psychology and a Psychodynamics of the Searching-Recovering Soul, and 3) The Searching Recovering Soul, A Psychodynamic Conversion of Anxiety & Habituation. Each module contains psychological concepts that are considered as necessary for a synergistic action solution to the issue of alcoholic/addiction recovery. An A-T psychological trading zone module construction is hierarchical. It, therefore, requires that module one is grounded on an A-T metaphysical psychology that allows for a fitting exchange of principles, concepts, and techniques on the issue of addiction.
