Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)Among the many genres of music, rap stands out as a particularly good vehicle for communicating content. The Christian variety of this music includes numerous examples of proclaimed truths of faith that speak of the existence of a single personal God. The rappers note that although He is mysterious, He wished to reveal truths about His creative work, His closeness to and care for His creation, especially man, for whom He prepared heaven. They also recognize the community of the Church and its value, as well as Mary’s special intercession. This article collects numerous examples of Christian rap songs that speak of the aforementioned elements of the Catholic faith, and thus can serve as an evangelization tool or catechetical aid.Pozycja Towarzyszenie dziecku w doświadczeniu śmierci i żałoby w opinii nauczycieli religiiGniadek, Dominika (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)The purpose of this article is to present the results of ongoing empirical research, describing the state of coping of elementary school-aged students with the experience of death of loved ones and experiencing the time of bereavement. The practical goal is also to reflect on how a religion teacher should act to facilitate a young person’s passage through this difficult stage in life. The article discusses the following research areas: dialogue between teacher and student, educational activities of the religion teacher, and support in the form of teacher-parent dialogue. The researches analyzed indicate that children mostly cope well with the experience of death, loss and bereavement, with the effective support and accompaniment of religious teachers, who repeatedly reveal the phenomenon of children’s keen interest in the topic of death during religious lessons, as well as the important role of the parent’s faith, which helps the child experience death and bereavement.Pozycja Bóg – Założycielem, Kreatorem i Budowniczym królestwa niebiańskiego w świetle kompozycji o siewcy (Mk 4, 1–20). Studium literackie, semantyczne i teologiczneĆwikła, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)The parable of the Sower (Mk 4:1–9; Mt 13:1–9; Lk 8:4–8) is the only parable of Jesus in which He indicated that Yahweh is the Founder, Creator and Builder of the kingdom of God, that He does not force anyone to enter his kingdom, but only invites. Since this parable is integrally connected with the two pericopes that follow it: with the record explaining the reasons why Jesus preached parables (Mk 4:10–13; Mt 13:10–17; Lk 8:9–10) and with the allegoresis of the parable of the sower (Mk 4:14–20; Mt 13:18–23; Lk 8:11–15), in this article it is analyzed together with these fragments, as a composition about the Sower (Mk 4:1–20). For the sake of clarity, this article is divided into three parts: the first is devoted to literary issues, the second to semantic ones, and the third to theological ones. The first part cites the most crucial information concerning the canonical record of Mk 4:1–20, and also delineates its boundaries, examines its context and structure. In the second part, the most key terms and expressions of this pericope are analyzed, including: παραβολή (parabole), ὁ σπείρων (ho speiron), ὁδός (hodos), πετρῶδης (to petrodes), ἄκανθα (akantha) and γῆ καλή (ge kale). And finally, in the third part, its punctum saliens is captured.Pozycja Żydowskie korzenie alegorezy chrześcijańskiejMuzolf, Rafał (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)Allegory has its roots in ancient Greece. Terms such as metaphor, hidden meaning, symbol, riddle, and allegory were used to reveal the secondary, figurative meaning of myths and poetry whose content was increasingly considered immoral and scandalous. Allegory was also present in the biblical world. An example is the Hebrew term māšāl. It was used to express the enigmatic content of proverbs, riddles, or Yahweh oracles. A classic example is the interpretation of the Song of Solomon, in which the Jews saw a picture of Jehovah‘s love for their nation. Likewise, the prophets, when preaching God‘s word, used Old Testament images and events of the past to express Yahweh‘s future action. The center of allegorical interpretation of biblical texts is found in Alexandria, especially in the activity of Philo. In his times, the allegorical reading of the Hebrew Bible was intensively used, extracting new meaning from it, often with psychological undertones. The Alexandrian community is also an important center for Christians. Church Fathers, such as Clement of Alexandria and Origen, will interpret the Holy Scriptures from the legacy of their predecessors. And the interpretative key will always be Christ.Pozycja Chrześcijańskie prorokinie w Nowym TestamencieKubiś, Adam (1976- ) (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)This article presents a characterization of several women identified explicitly in the New Testament as prophetesses: 1) Philip’s daughters in Acts 21:9; and 2) the prophetesses in the community in Corinth mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11:5. The article highlights the historical and theological context of their activity and defines the content and object of Christian prophecy. The presentation of these two groups of prophetesses points out the major exegetical problems presented by the text, and contemporary attempts to resolve them.Pozycja Między essą a odklejką. O samobójstwie i Kościele w kontekście wsparcia młodzieżyMagierski, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)A large part of the history of Polish subjectivity is marked by the presence of the Roman Catholic Church, which was and is part of a network of administrative, cultural and social connections. It is the largest religious community in Poland, and thus remains for millions of Poles an essential reference point in what is good and of worth. Therefore, in the context of the statement that suicide prevention isa task for everyone, it is worth paying attention to the role of the Church community in suicide prevention and postvention, especially in the aspect of crises faced by the young generation. In this work, I try to look at the history of the Church’s relation to suicide and stress the fact that suicidal issues are to become a platform for meeting and dialogue between various communities for which caring for the individual is an overriding goal. I also highlighted the space providing an opportunity to successfully sensitise society and debunk stereotypes and myths that have arisen around suicide. The space I mean here is the Papageno Team – Poland’s first pastoral ministry and support zone for people in a suicidal crisis and experiencing mourning after the suicide of a loved one.Pozycja Pierwsza wizyta prymasa Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy po uwolnieniu z więzienia (19–21 grudnia 1956)Czyżewski, Bogdan (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2023)During the period of Stefan Wyszyński’s service as Archbishop of Gniezno, the largest city of the archdiocese was Bydgoszcz. Wyszyński often visited it, for example conducting canonical visitations or administering the sacrament of confirmation. He also held numerous meetings with the faithful on the occasion of various celebrations, such as the unveiling of the renovated image of Our Lady of Beautiful Love in the parochial church and then the coronation of the image. Therefore, he could not miss Bydgoszcz upon his release after three years of imprisonment. First, he arrived in the primatial see of Gniezno (14–16 November 1956), and over a month later, in the city on the Brda River. The visit, which lasted less than three days (19–21 December 1956), brought much joy and hope to the residents of Bydgoszcz and the priests working there. Based on the preserved accounts of a witness to these ceremonies, on the sermon delivered by Wyszyński, and his personal notes in Pro memoria, this article presents the course of this unforgettable December event in the history of Bydgoszcz.
