    Teologia „wynagradzania” w ujęciu historycznym
    Gardocka, Marzena (Uniwersytet Szczeciński, 2009)
This article briefly presents the historical development of the catholic doctrine of reparation. Theological reflection on the atonement offered to the Father by Jesus for sins of the world was present in the Church from the very beginning. The first and most fundamental way in which reparation is understood theologically is as the atonement, expiation, propitiation or satisfaction which Christ has made for us to the Father in his redemptive sacrifice. Such understanding was deep-rooted in the Anselmian theory of the atonement that has emphasized the aspect of divine justice. In later centuries the concept of reparation was combined with the development of cult of the Sacred Heart, approved by the Popes Leon XIII (encyclical Annum Sacrum), Pius XI (encyclical Miserentissimus Redemptor), Pius XII (encyclical Haurietis Aquas). Pope John Paul II connected the idea of reparation to the attribute of divine love and therefore developed theology of mercy. Pope Benedict XVI reaffirmed the connection between the idea of reparation and love towards people as well as Christ’s obedience to the Father’s will as a foundation of the redemptive work of Christ as well as the example for Christians to follow A long history of theological reflection and revelations has shaped our understanding of the reparation today, when the idea of solidarity and pro-existence has been brought to the forefront. Jesus voluntary assumed solidarity with all people to bring them salvation. All His life and His death on the cross were manifestation of His pro-existence.

Monizm a dualizm w teorii zmartwychwstania w śmierci. Paradoksy nowych propozycji
    Grodzki, Tomasz (Uniwersytet Szczeciński, 2009)
New ideas concerning theories of resurection in death have certain advantages. A new view of the purgatory, not seeking rules of the state, but indicating its important element, which is facing the God is relevant. The everlasting value of prayer for the dead has been underlined as well. A great value of the theory of resurection in death is its impact in the understanding of corporeal nature of man, which is not fully defined by his physical nature.

    Postawy człowieka wobec śmierci
    Grzendzicki, Łukasz (Uniwersytet Szczeciński, 2009)
The following text is my personal attempt of summerizing of the accomplishments of Polish psychotanalogy researches, the beginning of which dates back to the 70s of the 20th century, but still do not belong to the most advanced domain and are in need of further development. Having begun his research Joseph Makselon was hoping to arouse the interest in the death matter in wider auditorium as well as to overcome the taboo associated with the issue. As it proves, it did not take place at that time and the matter has been both a keen interest up to nowadays as well as in need of being more penetratingly investigated. Rapid cultural changes of the present world result in the death's gathering a new different meaning from individual and social point of view alike, and there are still some new areas which have not been examined yet. Unfortunately, there is a lack of serious scientific treatise as for now. Tanalogy as a domain of psychological knowledge in Poland has been of interest for philosophers and other authors dealing with the sacrum sphere for years. Death has always been in the centre of attention in religious systems as the moment of truth and the final life sentence for each human being, so it is not surprising that the theological and social reflection take a lot from psychotanalogical study. The core of the issue, as I mentioned previously, is as vague as common and it concerns each of us which, as a matter of fact, makes the death issue unique, distressing and testing. It is necessary, though to undertake it despite the tendencies of its being ignored and denied these days. The meaning and the dread of death makes human beings look for the understanding their lives and takes the trouble to find the answer to the questions like 'who are we' or 'where are we heading for'? These questions seem to be one of the most essential for today's individual.

    Eklezjotwórcza funkcja homilii
    Jaśkiewicz, Grzegorz (Uniwersytet Szczeciński, 2009)
The article analyses some words like Church in ancient languages and what it means to build up the Church through preaching the homily. The dynamic mode of preaching should always lead to conversion and baptism. In this way the people are reborn in Jesus Christ and are as “living stones” in the spiritual building of the Church. The liturgy of the Word is never ever an individual act of a preacher; it is first of all God’s Work. It leads finally to immortal life in Mystical Body of Christ. The creative function of the Word of God was especially underlined. In Hebrew for example: dabar means not only the word, but also the deed, the event. So “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. (…) For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast” (Ps 33, 6; 9). The aim of this article is to remind the preacher of the importance of his task; this task is apostolic and about the pastoral mission of the Church so that the splendor of the Gospel could help others to examine and accept God’s love, which is above all knowledge (cf. Ef 3, 19).

    Bóg jest nieskończonym pięknem
    Sienkiewicz, Edward (Uniwersytet Szczeciński, 2009)
Although the beauty constitutes the proper subject of the asthetics, it cannot be fully owned by the esthetics. Already ancient art saw beauty as not only superficial and subjective. The beauty can be completely expressed only in the unity with the Good and the Truth. This view finds its expression in classic tradition and a continuity in Christian art, trying through the relation to sacrum to show the best way of solving the dispute of beauty with the Good and the Truth. Their traces in the work of creation find their expression in arts through centuries.
