Pozycja Chrystotypiczne i antropotypiczne interpretacje wniebowzięcia Maryi Panny w tradycji polskiej XIX wiekuWaluś, Monika (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)The article presents the development of the teachings on the Assumption of Mary in Poland in the 19th century. Taking this truth of faith for granted, preachers did not engage in polemics, but rather focused on the development of ecclesiotypic and anthropotypic concepts and pastoral conclusions. The teaching of Polish theologians corresponds to the recommendations of Marialis Cultus and treats the Assumption as an inspiration for formation in a Marian spirituality.Pozycja Chalcedonian Personalism According to Colin PattersonSanyu, Leonard (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)Colin Patterson from Melbourne, Australia presents Personalism of the Council of Chalcedon (451). He considers the Mystery of the Holy Trinity, the Person of Jesus Christ and the image of God in each human person. He emphasizes especially the Person-Nature relation in Trinitology, Christology and Anthropology.Pozycja Modello di comunicazione nella prospettiva ecclesiologicaRygielski, Jacek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)The article discusses the idea of communication between God and man in the context of the Church, referring to various communication models, and in a special way to the model of understanding and interpretation of Gianni Losito, an Italian sociologist. First, the author tries to explain why this topic is important for contemporary theology and ecclesiology. In the next part of the article there is an attempt to describe and define two key concepts for the subject, namely what we mean by communication and audience (pubblico), which in theological terminology can be understood as a community. As you can see, these concepts are not unambiguous and one concise definition cannot be given due to the multiplicity of forms and ranges of the above-mentioned terms. In the last part there is a short description of different models of interpersonal communication and a wider description of one of them as, according to the author, the most useful and corresponding to the relationship between God and man and between individual human beings. The model of Gianni Losito describes very clearly two phases of the communication process, which is the process of understanding a given message and the process of its interpretation, which means that each person can extract from the given message what is most important or more appealing for him because of his life situation or condition human.Pozycja A Theological Perspective on the Phenomenon of Life: Introduction Into the Bios, Psyche, and ZoePędrak, Anna; Duszek, Kamil (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)Life is such a beautiful and unique phenomenon. It cannot be described by a single definition, as it manifests itself in many different ways. Therefore, the phenomenon of life must be captured as a whole and by including its essential planes. The authors of the paper did interdisciplinary research. Their task was an exploration of the issue of life on three planes: bios (life in its core manifestations), psyche (intelligent and conscious life), and zoe (life that transcends itself). The collected data gives an appropriate perspective for theological insight. This approach determines a methodology that is interdisciplinary and very theological in character. This in-depth perspective enables the whole phenomenon to be understood in its transcendental function. Life from its very inception emerges toward “something more.” The final goal of this transcendental dynamism is ever-living God.Pozycja Jana Pawła II wstęp do pneumatologii narodówPokora, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)How to define nations’ pneumatology in the light of John Paul II teaching? Is the action of the Holy Spirit among the nation single and select or is it a part of the Mystery of Salvation and widespread activity in the Church? The answers to these questions can be found in the John Paul’s speeches and homilies made during his first pilgrimage to Poland and his first encyclic “Redemptor hominis”. There are presented the origins of the definition of nations’ pneumatology which is the Second Vatical Council. It calls for analyzing and explaining signs of the times in the light of Gospel. It was the Council which stressed the importance of interest in the Holy Spirit activity in social development and in the course of human history. These are actually the fields where we can find the bases of nations’ pneumatology and the observation of the Holy Spirit in the history of nations. John Paul II addresses these issues from the first days of his papacy. He points out that the Church originated in the Cenacle and through the Church people and nations are allowed to Mystical Body of Jesus Christ. All the subsequent gestures and symbols presented in the baptism of individual nations are just the answer to the most important act – the Pentecost.Pozycja Il Personalismo di Joseph Ratzinger/Benedetto XVIPanaro, Antonio (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)Joseph Ratzinger, in his autobiography entitled My Life, writes about his encounter with personalism, later found explained by Martin Buber, as: “A spiritual experience that left an essential mark, even if I spontaneously associated such personalism with the thought of St. Augustin, who in his Confessions had struck me with the power of all his human passion and depth.” From that moment on, all his theology emanates with personalism. He is convinced that “Christian faith does not relate to an idea but to a Person” (Intruduction to Christianity). The personalistic thinking of Joseph Ratzinger becomes evident when he describes the essence of the Sacrament of Baptism as well as the contents of the profession of faith in One and – at the same time – Three-personed God. “Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person” (Deus Caritas est, 1). Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI underlines the significance of person in all his theology by focusing on the concept of person in Trinitology and Christology, in which he develops a personalism in the purest form.Pozycja Jan Paweł II jako nauczyciel mariologii i maryjnościNapiórkowski, Stanisław Celestyn (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)According to the methodological principle, the correct interpretation of John Paul II (not only him) suggests taking into account the broader context of his statements. In the presentation of the Pope’s Mariology and Marian devotion, he focuses on what is more or less astonishing. John Paul II used the “Treaty” of St. Louis Grignion de Montfort. He never argued with him, never criticized him, but he did not take over everything. John Paul II consistently teaches the Mariology of Vatican II, not the Mariology of Grignion; strongly promotes the prayer of the rosary, incl. in Rosarium Virginis Mariae, but calls for contemplation of the Mysteries of our faith, which are recalled in it; she appeals and asks people not to be satisfied with simply pray the Rosary.Pozycja The Worship of Divine Mercy in Light of the Teaching of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope FrancisLancton, Thaddaeus (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)The two most recent Popes – Benedict XVI and Francis – have continued John Paul II’s emphasis on Divine Mercy. Each provides a particular emphasis, which results in a different manner of worshipping Divine Mercy. While each emphasize the entirety of salvation history as revealing Divine Mercy, with its climax in Jesus Christ, Pope Francis more often speaks of mercy so as to avoid a theory of mercy that is not put into practice. One such manner of implementing mercy is the addition of new mysteries of mercy to the Rosary. While this has no support from the papal magisterium of Pope Benedict, it does find support in Pope Francis’ desire to find ways for mercy to penetrate ever more into the daily attitudes and actions of Christians. Even so, care must be taken to frame such a change in the veneration of Divine Mercy within a proper theology that highlights the presence of Divine Mercy in the pre-existing mysteries, particularly that the Incarnation and the Paschal Mystery.Pozycja Teologiczno-eklezjalne aspekty bierzmowania w świetle programu duszpasterskiego Kościoła w Polsce na lata 2017-2019Kowalczyk, Marian (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2020)Theological and ecclesial aspects of confirmation Summary Considering the post-conciliar approach to sacramentology based on the idea of the Church of Christ as a living history of salvation, the article presents the sacrament of confirmation in its ecclesiological aspect. First, it draws attention to the sacrament of Christian maturity in the aspect of the Church’s stability as the people of God. In the next paragraph it focuses on the participation of those who have accepted the sacrament of confirmation in the apostolic tasks of God’s people, emphasizing in particular their taking full responsibility for the fate of the Church. The climax of the article is the depiction of the modern world’s evangelization by enriching the world with a new ideal of holiness according to the Kingdom of God, which through Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit is constantly increasing among people until the final fulfillment in God who will be „all in all” (see 1 Cor 15:24.28).
