Pozycja Ludowa rzeźba drewniana w wyposażeniu warmińskich kapliczek i krzyży dawniej i dziśKuprjaniuk, Stanisław (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)In the past, the wayside shrines and crosses in Warmia were commonly equipped with wooden rustic sculptures. For their better exposure, various architectural forms of the shrine constructions were used. However due to numerous factors, the sculptures of the Saints have not survived in their natural place. Such conclusion is springing to mind after full area and archives research. Having confronted the shrines' present state with the past, substantial loss in resources have been acknowledged. Out of 1370 wayside shrines only 69 contained a sculpture. As a result, only these sculptures, which were earlier documented and still in existence in situ, represent the only source of knowledge regarding the Warmia history, its community and culture. The origin of the sculptures is owed to frequently anonymous, local artists, who fulfilled particular social and personal orders. They used specific iconography models. One can distinguish iconography motives regarding the Christ, Holy Mary and the Saints in wooden, rustic sculptures. The most frequent motive of the sculptures regards, however, Holy Mary, with a very characteristic for Warmia – Pietà.Pozycja Wizytacje pasterskie bpa Czesława Rydzewskiego na Suwalszczyźnie i Sejneńszczyźnie w lipcu 1947 r.Guzewicz, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)„Bishop Czeslaw Rydzewski’s Visitations from July 1947” is a first bishop’s report about personal and material state of the parishes in Suwalki and Sejny Regions, the report which was made after the Second World War. The value of these proceedings is important inasmuch as they testify the most important events and affairs of the local churches not only of the occupation years, but also of the first postwar years. Because of lacking other sources they are the basic material that enables to investigate the history of particular parishes and churches. The original of the visitations is held in the Elk Diocese Archive in Elk.Pozycja Historia powstania Muzeum Diecezjalnego w ŁomżyGrabowski, Tomasz (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)The Diocesan Museum in Łomża was established in 2012. On April 16 of that year officially, in the presence of the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland, a new cultural institution initiated its activities. That day was the culmination of the wishes of many generations of priests who wanted the diocese to have its own museum with different collections of art. The space occupied by the Diocesan Museum in Łomża is a place where every visitor can learn about the history of the Diocese. About 450 m2 of the building are dedicated to expositions. The main room of the museum has as its title: “Between heaven and earth” and it is a gallery of sculpture and painting. The second room was given the name: “On the rectory”. Its arrangement is an attempt to recreate the interior of a rectory, which as a house and a meeting place is an integral part of the functioning of every parish. The next room is called “Treasury”. The objects gathered there are mainly made of silver and gold, as well as copper and brass. The exhibited collection includes: monstrances, chalices, crosses, reliquaries, ampoules, bells. The oldest chalices on display come from the Gothic period. The newest present in the collection are from the twentieth century. Thanks to the determination of the Bishop of Łomża Stanislaw Stefanek and his successor, Bishop Janusz Stepnowski, the Diocesan Museum officially inaugurated its activities on April 16, 2012. A year later, on April 8, 2013 a further display room was opened, set aside for temporary exhibitions. These are changed regularly and the large number of visitors of the exhibitions is for us an expression of gratitude for the work that is being done. During a year and a half that the Museum is opened, it has been visited by over 10,000 people. We are happy because of the interest not only of the local inhabitants, but also of groups from the whole of Poland and from abroad. In addition to the possibility of seeing the exhibits, we are also prepared to conduct museum lessons in a specially prepared room for such encounters, by earlier appointment. Thus, learning about local history can be connected with spending time in a creative and joyful way. I invite all our guests to the building of the Diocesan Museum of Łomża and to take a website tour by means of the site: www.muzeumdiecezjalne.home.plPozycja Braniewo w okresie powstania zgromadzenia sióstr św. DołęgiDzwonkowska, Dominika (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)Among early research interests of prof. Józef M. Dołęga there is a problem of creationism and evolutionism. The discourse on the problem has been carried mostly within neothomistic philosophers who were trying to find a right interpretation of research results, philosophical theory and theological truths. Prof. Dołęga in his works presents the evolutional model of creationism that was discussed in Polish philosophy in 1960 and 1970. He mainly focuses on the concept of Kazimierz Kłósak, Karl Rehner, Antonin-Dalmace Sertillanges, Pierre Teilharda de Chardin, Claude Tresmontant, Leon Wciórka and Mieczysław Gogacz. The paper presents the most important aspects of Dołęga’s analyzes of evolutionism-creationism discource.Pozycja Historia duszpasterstwa katolickiego w parafii Matki Bożej Anielskiej w Lipsku nad Biebrzą w latach 1914-1997Czartoszewski, Jacek W. (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)Roman Catholic parish Lipk at the Biebrza is situated at the borders of Augustowszczyzna and Grodzieńszczyzna. In its turbulent history there have been collisions of cultures from eastern, Black Ruthenian with elements of Latin culture, polish from Mazovia. In XIX century, the cultural influences, has brought massive conversions of Russians who wanted to became Polish. In consequence it led to the reaction of tsar, namely to the oppressions of member of Uniate Church and closing down of Roman Catholic parish in Lipsk. Lack of unity has brought distrust to both laic and church authority. During wars the parish was twice deprived of priest. In 1915-1917 when P. Kotlewski was interned in Guterloh and in 1943-1944 after S. Dąbrowski escaped and B. Rutkowski and J. Płoński were murdered. During absence of priests the church was destroyed twice and two times after the priests came back the church was rebuild. The parish is „anointed” with blessed martyrs from Second World War. Blessed Marianna Biernacka was born there and spent all her life there, she was shoot dead at forts in Naumowicze. Blessed sister Sergia M. Julia Rapiej was born and spent her childhood there, she was shoot near Nowogródek. Also blessed father Adam Bargielski also worked there for some time in 1936, he died in concentration camp in Dachau. During cultural freedom P. Kuklewicz and in interwar period T. Zajączkowski together with vicar W. Sawicki and J. Dzieniszewski managed to revive cultural and social activity so much that the admiration and even envy appeared in people from neighborhood. All priests of those days put their hearts and souls into their work with entrusted them people.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z „Zebrania sekcji filozoficznej wykładowców filozofii uczelni katolickich w Polsce” Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II, 11 marca 2014 rokuSieńkowski, Marcin (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2014)
