Pozycja Organisierte Erinnerung. Ein Beitrag zu Entstehungsgeschichte und Funktionen der Kriegschronik der Provinz OstpreussenSapała, Barbara (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)At the beginning of the First World War, numerous propaganda operations were conducted in Germany to strengthen national and local identity, including war exhibitions as well as writing and publishing wartime memories. In 1914, the Governor of East Prussia, Adolf von Batocki-Friebe, and a specially appointed committee developed the concept of a chronicle that would document the wartime history of the Province. The task of collecting data and materials for the chronicle, which was supposed to be largely based on the individual experiences and memories of inhabitants, required a huge organizational effort, including the creation a bureaucratic machine. The concept of the chronicle and the stages of the writing process are presented in the first section of the paper, based on source materials and documents. The subsequent sections focus on the functions the chronicle was to fulfill according to its originators, and on the unintended effects and consequences that stemmed from the original concept.Pozycja Faustynie Kowalskiej i Anneliese Michel objawienie diabelskie. He went to God in an extraordinary way (2 Kings 2: 1-2. 11-13) as a reward for absolute fidelity to God, vocation and mission that he was obliged to complete. Yes, absolutely, because even while experiencing a deep crisis, he persisted at God, spoke to him in prayer and asked for help. And when finally it proved not to be such as what he asked but the opposite, instead of death and blissful peace in the land of the dead he had to take a new superhuman action, however, it has finally been adopted and faithfully executed. That is why throughout the Old Testament tradition, he was expected at his second coming. It was believed that he would begin the Messianic times, coming back to the earth as he has gone to heaven – on a fiery chariot harnessed to fiery steeds. His coming was confirmed by Messiah Jesus of Nazareth during the descent from the Mount of Transfiguration when he explained to students that his mission was fulfilled in the person and activity of John the Baptist (Mt 17, 9-13).Pozycja Realizacja Miłosierdzia Bożego w działalności CaritasNogowski, Jacek Marek (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)Exercise of the Godʼs Mercy in Caritas activity is a charity service based on the Godʼs commandment of love, appropriate to needs of people who suffer financial or spiritual poverty, aimed at bringing help in living decent quality of life. The motive for activity and the charity service comes out of the commandment of the love to a neighbor and desire for imitating the Christ (Luke 10, 30-36). However, among them there are also objects which architecture is convergent with the one of the Warmia wayside shrines as far as the material used for building – bricks, and their Gothic Revival style. Long-term studies confirmed that some of the shrines accepted by the state departments of cultural heritage protection are indeed war memorials. This clear example of misunderstanding within architectural types classification was observed in Długobór. The article and the conducted proof explanation are dedicated to this object. The reason for classification of the shrines, this one and similar objects on Biesowo, Lubomino, Lutry and Tolkowiec was removing commemorative and military elements from these objects, although such elements were initially endowed with those emblems. Explaining the problem of the Długobór memorial classification was the first step towards further researches regarding various forms of the war memorials in Warmia.Pozycja Pojęcie i istota piastowskiego cłaDrozdek, Adam (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)Pozycja Wspomnienia biskupa Edwarda Samsela z pielgrzymki do Ziemi Świętej (31 III – 13 IV 1989)Guzewicz, Wojciech (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2015)Memories of Bishop Edward Samsel from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land were created in the period from 31 March to 13 April 1989.
