Pozycja Wychowanie i edukacja chrześcijańska wobec wyzwań socjoglobalistykiWoś, Marek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Social, economic and cultural reality as well as the reality of the surrounding nature fall into the experience of every human being. All those elements are interrelated and they constitute the foundations for an individual’s identity associated with the social roles which one undertakes. Nowadays, when various spheres of human lives are mixed at a macrostructural level, the questions regarding globalization issues begin to come to the fore. The Church is interested in this phenomenon because it is a process leading to homogeneity of the world. Globalization as a constantly fluctuating phenomenon needs ethical and cultural spiritual foundations which would become its environment or a system of relationships and ways of communication.Pozycja „Uwarunkowania społeczne życia w mieście pogranicza”. The most recent examples of concepts utilizing the ideas of empowerment include, among others, a solution oriented approach, the model of supported employment or an approach based on the creation and development of communities. Moreover, one must draw attention to motivating dialogue and family group conferences as well as video training communication as well as the outreach method. Bearing in mind the necessity of engaging in work with individuals who need the assistance of a social worker, the goal of considerations was to show selected innovative solutions in contemporary social work.Pozycja Ondriej Štefaňak, Wartości moralne maturzystów słowackich. Sympozjum Biblistów Polskich (Toruń, 17-19 września 2013)Briks, Piotr; Korzec, Cezary; Zaklukiewicz, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Unikalne znaczenie wody chrzcielnej i jej wykradanie do praktyk magicznych przyczyną ewolucji formy chrzcielnicy i jej zabezpieczeniaNowiński, Janusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The growing importance of baptismal water since the 3rd c., emphasized in the ceremony of its blessing with holy oils (benedictio fontis) which occurred in the Early Middle Ages and Carolingian ceremonies, developed the perception of baptismal water as a res sacra, a holy item category, turning it into unique matter. Its presence in the baptismal font influenced the development of the shape and decoration of the baptismal vessel, primarily by compositionally exposing the basin which clearly dominated the pedestal. The holiness and the sanctifying power of the Sacrament matter were illustrated in the font basin decoration. In the Middle Ages, the sacramental matter of baptismal water was used in sorcery practices related to the so-called effigy magic (invultuatio). In order to enhance the magic power and identification with sorcery addressees, wax figurines that represented them underwent a rite of sorcery Baptism being given the name of an individual a magic ritual was targeted at. As a result, baptismal water together with the consecrated oil of Chrism and oil of the Catechumens were stolen from churches. Those sacrilege practices made the Church issue an order to keep baptismal fonts locked (sub clave), the latter resulting in various forms of preventing access to the baptismal font: from simple lids strengthened with metal ferrules, up to impressive conic ones, with time becoming more and more artistically elaborate. The problem of securing fonts remained open also in the post-Tridentine period. Rituale Romanum issued in 1614 instructed to lock the fonts and fence them off with a closing balustrade.Pozycja Żydzi w Błoniu – dzieje i zagładaMichalak, Grzegorz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The article presents the history of the Jewish community in Błonie. The first Jews arrived in the city around 1478 and their main sources of income were trade, the lease of goods, and loans. In the middle of the XVI century, restrictions on the settlement of Jews were put into place. Thus, in later years one does not find information certifying their presence. The Jewish people began to appear again in Błonie in the late XVIII century. At that time, the Jewish community was not large - in 1808, twenty Jews lived here, representing 2.5% of the population. Their numbers gradually increased, reaching 34.5% in 1897. In the interwar period, a fully-formed Jewish community with its own schools and organizations could be observed. The time of German occupation ended its existence.Pozycja Die anthropologischen Aspekte der UmweltkriseŁepko, Zbigniew (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The starting point of this article is recognizing the anthropological character of the environmental crisis. It contains information about the scope of human involvement in this crisis. The articles concerns first, man as the object of the environmental crisis then, man as the subject of the environmental crisis and finally, man as the guaranteed master of overcoming the environmental crisis. The first case considers man as a victim of the crisis and therefore, discusses his experience of its negative effects on the bodily, psychological and spiritual dimensions. The second case indicates man as the main perpetrator of the crisis and therefore, focuses on the biologically and culturally conditioned human abuse with respect to the environment. The third case refers to man as the sole guarantor of taking control and overcoming the environmental crisis. The main goal here is formation of natural environment friendly to man, and a man friendly to his natural environment.Pozycja Postawa męczenników wobec państwa i władzy państwowej według TertulianaKubiszewska-Krasowska, Elżbieta (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Tertullian held a rigorous opinion about the attitude of martyrs towards the state and people in power. He analyzed the cases of Christians involving in the social life of pagans. Among others, he discussed the issue of military service, the work of teachers and government officials as well as the relationship of Christians to the emperor. The necessity to kill in case of soldiers, to participate in pagan ceremonies and work in government positions were all associated with violation of Christian principles. The faithful were obliged to pray for the well-being of the emperor and of the Roman Empire. Christians’ aversion towards the state increased during their persecutions. They were not good government officials because, due to their faith, they were unable to fully execute all commands and were sentenced to martyrdom in consequence. It can be concluded that Tertullian encouraged withdrawal from the life of the state in order to remain faithful to God.Pozycja Liturgia sakramentu bierzmowania w pracach nad „Ordo Confirmationis” 1971Krakowiak, Czesław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The article deals with the works carried out on the reformation and renewal of Confirmation sacrament, Ordo Confirmationis, promulgated in 1971. The reform of the book was postulated in votes and suggestions by bishops, Roman Congregations and catholic universities and presented to the Holy See before the Council. Editorial works on Ordo Confirmationis were carried out by Consilium ad exsequendam Constitutionem de Sacra Liturgia and a special work team appointed especially for this task, namely, Coetus a Studiis XX, which consisted of experts on Confirmation liturgy history, theology and legal issues. The team prepared successive schemes of De Confirmatione, which were then discussed and consulted with the members of relevant Congregations and submitted to Pope Paul VI for assessment. Ordo Confirmationis is mainly the work of Coetus a Studiis XX, whereas Praenotanda were prepared by The Congregation for Divine Worship in cooperation with other discasteria of the Holy See. The final version of Ordo Confirmationis was preceded by a special Apostolic Constitution, Divinae consortiun naturae, in which the Pope approved of the rites and defined a significant sacramental sign of Confirmation (substance and formula). Since then, Confirmation is usually bestowed during the Holy Mass and, in other cases, it is always combined with the Liturgy of the Word.Pozycja Leon Knabit, Szukając Boga, Wydawnictwo Benedyktynów, Kraków 2012, ss. 175.Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Krystyna z Markyate – wprowadzenie do żywotuGłusiuk, Anna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)This article presents information about Christina, saint, eremite and subsequent superior in Markyate, who lived in England in the 12th century. The study aims to elucidate the person of the saint, so little known in Poland. In order to encourage reading of the “Life,” the author, apart from sketching the saint’s biography, discusses the role of women during the Middle Ages as well as refers to an extraordinary friendship between Christina and an abbot from one of the most influential monasteries of the twelfth-century England - Geoffrey of Gorham – who was a cause of damnatio memoriae after his death.Pozycja Problem techniki w społeczeństwie konsumentówDzwonkowska, Dominika (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Technology has brought the humanity rapid development and manifold conveniences, therefore, it has been perceived mainly as a source of positive changes, even though, it has also brought many negative side effects. In this article, technology is presented as a field of moral reflection, especially, as a field for reflection on consumerism. The development of Western civilization brought about a disturbing phenomenon, i.e. consumerism. Homo consumens uses technology to consume more than he needs. He is driven by artificially fueled desires that can never be satisfied, thus he falls into a vicious circle of never-ending consumption. On the one hand, technology makes goods more available; on the other hand, it also generates new needs, called «meta-needs». As a result, consumer societies define the value of a person through the prism of his possessions, which are actually incessantly exchanged for new material goods. In this approach, instead of serving the society, technology strengthens consumerism which affects full personal development and is harmful to the environment.Pozycja Ks. prof. dr hab. Ryszard Rubinkiewicz SDB (1939-2011). Członek redakcji „Seminare” w latach 1978-1989Drawnel, Henryk (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja John Hicks (1922-2012) christologische Reflexion als Relativierung der Einzigkeit der Heilsvermittlung Jesu ChristiBokwa, Ignacy (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pluralistic theology of religion is a real threat to Christianity. It relativizes the unicity of saving mediation of Jesus Christ in the name of democratic equalityof all religions. The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith recognized this threat and published „Dominus Iesus” declaration in 2000. This document refers, inter alia, to the creativity of John Hick (1922-2012). The English philosopher of religion is one of the best known and the most prominent representatives of the pluralistic theology of religion. This theory treats all religions as equal ways of salvation. The absolute claim of Christianity is severely criticized. John Hick’s contribution to this criticism is about relativization of Jesus Christ’s salutary meaning. Hick questions the dogmatic and ontological language of the first Christological council in Nice (325) and Chalcedon (451). He accuses this language of abandoning the imagery of the biblical language. According to Hick Jesus Christ is not a genuine Son of God- He is one of God’s embodiments. The article analyzes John Hick’s pieces of writing and ends with a critical conclusion.Pozycja Opieka duszpasterska w parafii w sensie kan. 517 § 2. Uwagi i refleksje kanoniczneAdamczyk, Jerzy (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)In this article, the author focuses on the issue of pastoral care in the parish in terms of canon 517 (2) of the Code of Canon Law. The first part of the article presents the history of canon 517 (2). The second part highlights the reasons for entrusting the parish to persons without ordination to the priesthood. The third part is dedicated to the priest-moderator leading the parish under canon 517 (2), while the fourth part discusses collaborators of the priest–moderator within the parish. Entrusting people without ordained priesthood with certain pastoral functions in the parish is always an extraordinary and temporary situation, which should always be accompanied by work promoting priestly vocations.
