Pozycja Fundamentalne zobowiązania moralne Izraela w ramach etyki przymierzaNagórny, Janusz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)The starting point for the present considerations is the statement that the etics of Covenant in the Old Testament is responsive in its character. After showing the obligation for accepting God’s summons, the present author formulates the question about the nature of the fundamental moral attitude of Israel which should be realized as a part of Covenant. Basing on the comparison between the structure of the biblical Covenant and formula of other treaties existing in the Ancient Near East, we can limit the answer to this question to the analysis of various ways of expressing the so called „fundamental (main) commandment”. According to the present author, this commandment referred to the attitude of a man toward God. It demanded the exclusive affilation to God, obeying Him and called for the attitude of love and fear towards Him. It also called far the closeness to God and for following Him in His ways. It has been stressed that the proper understanding of this fundamental attitude in the etics of Covenant defends it from the objection of legalism as the sole observation of law did not express the idea behind it. It is also impossible to understand all the detailed rules of the law in a proper way without looking at it from the perspective of this fundamental obligation.Pozycja Usamodzielnienie się metodologii teologii moralnejGreniuk, Franciszek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)In the article the author considers the process which has resulted in gaining methodological independence by moral theology. The process was long and in many ways conditioned. Generally speaking, three stages can be differentiated: unity of theology, gaining autonomy by moral theology including the autonomy of the method of cognition, and the stage of full independence. The earliest beginnings of separateness of the particular branches of theology can be seen in differentiating the moral sense of the Bible from the strict and alegorical senses in the patristic and post-patristic periods. Then the rationalism of the 12th century tried to systematize the commentary and make it independent of the revelation, and in commenting the Bible – to separate lectio and quaestio. Owing to this, theology passed from the study in sancta pagina to the study in sancta doctrina. In the Renaissance period – as the author of the paper proves – owing to the vantage point of the distinguished Christian humanists, like Erasmus Desiderius or U. Hutten, the attention was drawn to the necessity of a more scholarly treatment of the sources of theological knowledge. Melchior Cano worked out the foundations of theological methodology in that time, which resulted in the possibility of a fuller development of historical and polemical theology. In the process of moral theology becoming autonomous, the unintended influence of the supporters of the Reformation was not meaningless. They treated seperately theological speculative issues and the more practical ones concerned with the Christian morality. Methodological independence of moral theology, which was fully achieved on the turn of the 16th century, found its expression first in the organization of theology teaching by the Dominicans and Jesuits, and later in works of the handbook type. The classical works of this kind include ones by – among others – J. Azor, H. Henriquez, P. Laymann. The method of theological-moral research established by them became fully concolidaited and lasted for centuries, mainly thanks to the influence of H. Busenlbaum and St. Alfons Liguori.Pozycja Przeznaczenie i powołanie człowieka oraz ich teologiczna wiarygodnośćRosik, Seweryn (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)Pozycja Miejsce i rola bojaźni Bożej (φόβοϛ) na drodze dążenia do doskonałości chrześcijańskiej według Klemensa AleksandryjskiegoDrączkowski, Franciszek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)In his polemics with the anitinomiste, Clement of Alexandria defending the value of the fear of Goid, defined its rational character and high dignity (resulting from the relation of adoration and love, which exists between God, a good Father, and the redeemed people – God’s children); he also pointed to the important function which the fear of God has at the beginning of the process of Christian perfection as a factor keeping one back from the evil and as an indispensable stage on one’s way to achieving other merits. Approving of the objective value land educational qualities of the fear of God, at the same time be perceived its imperfection: the inability to completely remove the evil and unskillfulness in bringing one to the complete good. Referring to the teachings of St. John he stresse the fact, that as the perfection progresses, the meaning of the fear of God is gradually diminished, proportionally to the growth of agape, since „fear does not exist in love, but perfect love throws fear away from it” (1 John 4,18).Pozycja Spotkanie naukowe teologów moralistów polskich Poznań 19-20 IV 1979 r.Nagórny, Janusz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)Pozycja Przegląd bibliografii teologicznomoralnej za rok 1978Greniuk, Franciszek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)Pozycja Kronika Sekcji Teologii Moralnej KUL za rok 1978-1979Greniuk, Franciszek (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1980)Pozycja Ks. Work in the Christian sense presupposes the Christianity of man. Without it the Christian dimention of work is impossible, but being actually a Christian work, it in fluences the developlment and perfection of Christian life. Work, participating in God's task of creation and redemption, shows its highest dignity and possibility to promote human devleqpment as far as the level shown in Jesus C hrist. The rank of work results from the function of Christian love. Both Christian perfection and holiness can be ultimately reduced to this function.
