Pozycja Postać świętej Anny – matki Maryi w wybranych utworach literatury staropolskiejWojtowicz, Małgorzata (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)The main aim of the article is to present selected works from the corpus of the oldest Polish texts showing the figure of St. Anne. In the article the characteristics in the lyrical genres (such as little hours, song of Saint Anne) are compared with those present in the prose (such as apocrypha, hagiographic works). The booklets for the members of the Society St. Anne, which are collections of different types of song, are also mentioned. In the article there is the answer if and in what way the genealogical character of the work describing the Saint Grandmother of Christ and the time in which the work was created influenced the content and ideologies present in the selected texts. The majority of the argument is based on the chronology of the creation of works.Pozycja Aresztowanie ks. Stanisława MaciątkaGuzewicz, Wojciech; Moszczyński, Leszek (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)This article presents the events preceding the first arrest of Father Stanisław Maciątek in 1939 and subsequent arrest. The ceremony of introducing to Wiżajny a copy of the image of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn is described in detail which, as one might think, influenced the further course of events. An attempt was made to gather knowledge about the immediate perpetrators of the arrests and their connections to the German diversionary and spy network. It shows how their subsequent fate followed after 2nd world war.Pozycja Gajcy, Bachelard – idea domu onirycznego na przykładzie „Poematu letargicznego” i innych wierszyBrasse, Rafał (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)The purpose of this article is to try to answer the question of how the idea of a dreamy house came to its creative realization in the poetry of Tadeusz Gajcy. According to Gaston Bachelardʼs philosophical conception, the initial memory of family home, the nostalgic returns to the lost childhood land, is just a threshold leading to the identification of deeper meanings. The house of our longings transformed by the dreamdestroys the feeling of passing, and thus represents the specific embodiment of the idea of eternity. The French anthropologist introduced the notion of a dreamy house for the purposes of literary research, which evokes in the space of literary images the archetypal image of pra-haven hidden in the depths of existence. Discovered by the poet as the seat of the inner indwelling, it is often referred to by reality as a backdrop for dreams of infinity. What is worth emphasizing, in Gajcyʼs poetry the poetic imagery of the dreamy house as an absolute value, shaping and saving humanity is built upon the foundations of personal relationships.Pozycja W. In the articles of the Society of the Watchtower, the authors of the magazines emphasize that young people choose such friends for whom moral values are the basic measure of Christian life. The attitude of humiliation towards parents should result from purely religious reasons, and disobedience results in suspicion, lack of trust and abandonment of spiritual practices. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that young people reach for stimulants to alleviate problems. Regardless of the consequences, they destroy health and ruin their own future. The young man begins to compensate for the lack of due love by reaching for the drug. Young people use free time not always in a constructive way. They play sports, but often for vain competition and fame. They listen to loud music isolating themselves from external stimuli. They often fall into gambling and pornography, making themselves slaves of their own mistakes and falls. According to Jehovahʼs Witnesses, these symptoms mean “last days”. Only those who reject moral contamination can expect a beautiful future.Pozycja Przepowiadanie Misterium Krzyża na podstawie modlitw mszalnych ze święta Podwyższenia Krzyża ŚwiętegoChojnowski, Marek (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)Mass prayers for the Feast of Exaltation of the Cross are strongly emphasize the importance of the cross in the life of Christians. The mystery of cross is revealed to the faithful as our redemption. Christ by his sacrifice won with death, Satan and sat at the right of God. The Christian confesses that he is glorified by the cross of the Lord Jesus. Mass prayers in this day accentuate the mission of Jesus Christ as the savior. He through his death confirmed the truths proclaimed during his life on earth. And the sacrifice of Jesus, which was made on the cross, leads to heaven all his believers.Pozycja Realizacja dobra wspólnego w działalności księży werbistów na wschodniej Syberii i Dalekim WschodzieWęcławik, Józef (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)The proposed topic: Implementation of the common good in the activities of the Divine Word Missionaries in the Eastern Siberia requires a few comments. Firstly, The Eastern Siberia and the Far East – in the article is understood as the eastern part of Russia – from the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the island of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands in the east, and from the north – from the Arctic Ocean to the borders with Mongolia and China in the south . The Eastern Siberia joins the Russian Far East – that is, countries and districts situated in the far east. The whole territory coincides with the Diocese of St. Joseph. Secondly, the common good. The common good is primarily the development and improvement of man in his personal life. The common good is, as written Fr. M. A. Krąpiec, real good of a man existing in the form of specific perfection of human persons. The good is a goal and principle of social order, it allows the improvement of a specific human person without harm to others and for the benefit of all. Thirdly, Divine Word Missionaries. It is a missionary congregation, founded in 1875 in Steylu, in what is now the Netherlands, by St. Arnold Janssen. Divine Word Missionaries began their work in Belarus, and after the ordination of Fr. Jerzy Mazur SVD (31 May 1989) as bishop, they started to work in Irkutsk and Blagoveshchensk on the Russian-Chinese border, and most recently in Chita beyond Baikal. The origins of the presence of the Divine Word Missionaries are associated with the activities of Bishop Jerzy Mazur SVD, and Fr. Joseph Węcławik SVD in Irkutsk. From the very beginning, implementation of common good in the activities of the Divine Word Missionaries was associated with the creation of structures of the local Catholic Church (which, despite the difficult times, continue to operate today) and the renewal of both the community of the Church (invisible common good), and its visible common good – churches, chapels and all forms of activity. The purpose of this activity is to multiply the common good so that man could reach his perfection as a Christian. Expulsion of bishop Jerzy Mazur SVD by the Russian authorities and the return of Fr. Joseph Węcławik SVD to Poland ended the first period of the Divine Word Missionaries’ activity. The second period lasts to this very day and the Divine Word Missionaries have been very active in three places: in Irkutsk, Blagoveshchensk, and the Chita. They cooperate with other congregations and diocesan priests in realizing the common good – the Church, which will be able to take all challenges of the contemporary world. Multiplication of the common good is associated with a courageous acceptance of the difficult tasks linked with the currents of thought, technologizing, consumerism, postmodernism, nihilism and practical atheism, life ,,as if God has not existed”. Modern civilization, in which the Church also lives in Eastern Siberia, the technological civilization promotes development of consumer mentality, indifference in matters of religion, which Max Thürkauf described as “technomania” or disease of practical materialism, on which grows secularization of life, disregard for sin and its consequences involving the whole of human life. These alarming symptoms of modern life foster religious indifference and lead to practical atheism, in a society already indoctrinated by atheistic ideology for decades. In response, evangelization of the world is needed requiring authenticity and thrilling power of Christian love and the vision of the kingdom of Christ. It has to do with pastoral ministry and with the laity apostolate inscribed in the charism of the Congregation, which aims at uniting the world with Christ and, in Him, people among themselves, that is ,,unum in Christo”. In other words – authenticity and fullness of Christianity: sanctification and evangelization of the temporal order, which is a great common good. The task of the Divine Word Missionaries is a great challenge, calling for deepening and activating the Christian religiosity and building the Christian Community so that in the community the Church is embodied and the common good is built in most Christian dimensions. There is no escape before that. Then the Church of St. Joseph will be the power of love growing from a living faith, and will be able to resist the pressure of moral evil and spiritual death of the world. According to the charism of the Congregation of the Divine Word Missionaries, proclamation the Word of God it is a priority of the Congregation, but it also connects with the cooperation of the laity, which in the conditions of Siberia is a prerequisite to achieving the common good, namely, the rebuilding of the Church after decades of collapse during the communist regime. In the activities of the Divine Word Missionaries very important is cooperation with the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, the congregation also founded by St. Arnold Janssen. This cooperation has an optimistic perspective in the formation of children and youth – the future of the Catholic Church. Taking spiritual and medical care of lonely people, the sick and the marginalized means becoming a witness of authentic proclamation of the Gospel. Irkutsk and Blagoveshchensk – as university towns also offer the opportunity to work with groups of students, because many young people are looking for their identity, the meaning of life and their way to God, even though the world around us brings many illusory proposals. Both the SSpS sisters and the Divine Word Missionaries are also involved in helping people addicted to alcohol or drugs, in organizing scientific workshops that involve local experts, as well as those from abroad. To set the man free - the great common good united with the spirit of the Gospel. Involvement of the Divine Word Missionaries in formation of the common good - the community of the Church in Eastern Siberia, is not only the work of the Polish SVD Province, because there also work Divine Word Missionaries from Indonesia, Slovakia and India. International communities are a good image of the universal Church, which is not enclosed in just one culture and nationality.Pozycja Aksjologiczny rozwój etyczny i jego implikacje duchowe w filozofii Karola WojtyłyPodgórski, Ryszard A. (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)The turn of the 20th century saw the origination of a tradition of analysing the nature of values (what is precious and good), i.e. what is value, what is its character? A postulate that explained the ontic status of values, the sources and mechanisms of origination of value, criteria of valuation, classification of values and – in a sociological meaning – the social functioning in culture and individual and social preferences of their accomplishment – all of this was an important issue. Wilhelm Windelband and Heinrich Rickert propagated the concept of axiology. Axiology won its renown thanks to the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl which – through the axiology of Max Scheler and Nicolai Hartmann, Dietrich von Hildebrand – breaks with the scientific anthropological vision of Auguste Comte. Therefore, when referring to phenomenology, Karol Wojtyła creates “adequate anthropology”. This multi-aspect Thomisticphenomenological presentation of the human being by Karol Wojtyła has a significant axiological dimension for the development of spiritual life in the ethical personalism of Karol Wojtyła. This is the basis which we will use to ask the following question in this study: how does axiology influence the ethical and moral behaviour of a human being?Pozycja O dwóch wyzwaniach globalizacjiJasiński, Karol (Wydawnictwo Diecezjalne Adalbertinum, 2018)This article addresses two challenges of the globalization process: European identity and state sovereignty. National identity is often omitted and replaced by European identity. However, two important elements have been forgotten in identifying the European identity: 1. essential foundation of Christianity and its values; 2. importance of national identity in the lives of people and societies, because they are always entangled in a particular national community and culture. The issue of sovereignty, that is autonomy and self-determination of individual states, is increasingly an important challenge for Europe. Sovereignty is increasingly limited in the name of extending its scope and exercising it jointly with others within the framework of supranational institutions. The traditional vision of national sovereignty is considered obsolete and replaced by the concept of shared, pluralistic, multidimensional and functional sovereignty. Three points are important: 1. there are some leaders in EU who dictate the tone of the other states and try to impose certain solutions; 2. some state leaders declare openly that they will protect the interests of their own country and such declarations are moreover confirmed in specific decisions and actions; 3. sovereign nation state is also a natural space for political debate and a first school of democracy.Pozycja M.
