Świadomość ekumeniczna duchownych rzymskokatolickich miasta Poznania

Abstract

Since the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council the Roman Catholic Church has been following the path of ecumenical venture. Many misunderstandings and prejudices have already been resolved. However, the question of accommodation of these agreements to the faith and life of the Church appears. The objective o f this paper was to describe reception of ecumenical process by Roman Catholic priests from Poznań. 136 Roman Catholic and 3 priests from other Christian Communities responded to the survey. The results suggest positive attitude o f the priests to the ecumenical involvement o f the Church. However, the priests appeared not to be familiar with the ecumenical documents and Christian Communities which exist in Poznań. Moreover, the positive attitude to ecumenism was also not supported by the practical commitment.
