Informacja w nauce Kościoła o mediach

Abstract

Autor analizuje pojęcie informacji w kontekście nauczania Kościoła na ten temat, a następnie stawia pytania o jej istotę, „powinności” (jaka ona jest i jaka powinna być), cele i typy informacji – także o Kościele i w Kościele. Na początku autor prezentuje cechy informacji medialnej w nauczaniu Soboru Watykańskiego II, funkcję informacyjną mediów w instrukcji pastoralnej „Communio et progressio”, istotę i zadanie informacji w świetle Katechizmu Kościoła Katolickiego i wreszcie rolę informacji w info-ewangelizacji w nauczaniu Jana Pawła II.The author examines the concept of information in the context of Church teaching on this subject, and then raises questions about its relevance, the “duty” (what it is and what it should be), the objectives and types of information – including information about the Church and in the Church. At the beginning the author presents the characteristics of the media information in the teaching of Vatican II, informative function of the media according to the pastoral instruction, “Communio et progressio”, the nature and task of the information according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and, finally, the role of information in the info-evangelization by John Paul II.
