Funkcjonowanie w świecie Globalnej Infrastruktury Informacyjnej stanowi dla Kościoła zarówno szansę, jak i wyzwanie. Struktura sieci i jej właściwości sprawiają, że konieczne staje się wnikliwe poznanie i zrozumienie specyfiki działania tego medium. Natomiast jego wykorzystanie dla potrzeb eklezjalnych wymaga ponadto teologicznej interpretacji Globalnej Infrastruktury Informacyjnej oraz wskazania możliwości jej praktycznego zastosowania.Operating in a world of Global Information Infrastructure provides for the Church an opportunity and the challenge. Structure of the internet and its properties make it becomes necessary to in-depth knowledge and understanding of the specificity of this medium. However, its use in the Church activity requires also theological interpretation of the Global Information Infrastructure and to identify opportunities for its practical applications.
